Zadkiel Was sitting on the Side of a cloud, Letting out peaceful and happy hum as he Listen to the wind.

He heard a sound of Wings flap closer…

He look up “Ah Sera!” He chirps when He notice the Familiar Seraphim Flying closer.

Sera Smile softly at him before landing, She look Hesitant… she Hesitate a bit before sitting next to him when He gesture for her to do so.

“Evening Zadkiel… sir”

“Just Zadkiel it’s fine~ what brings you here?” Zadkiel asked with a welcoming smile as usual.

Sera gulp before she put her hand to her lap and stare at the Cloud below her “Sir Is… May I ask for Mercy? Forgiveness for what I have done? And what I have yet to do?” She Asked.

Zadkiel smile didn’t falter, His gaze soften before he kick his leg in the air “And Do you know what you did wrong that made you ask for mercy?” He asked, She Pause before nodding.

“I have Misjudged the Sinners, They can be redeemed… I have Been ashamed of myself by… thinking Human Souls can’t Change” She hissed.

Zadkiel nodded before he let out a hum “You don’t need to beat yourself up Sera” He simply responded “Humans Are Creature with more emotions than we are, They have Urge to follow what they Want… urge for freedom and Independence unlike us Angels that Follow God’s Rule…”

He pause for a moment Noticing how she clench her fist “You just want to do what’s best, What’s her name? Emily right?”

“yes! Yes Emily- apologies I didn’t mean to…” before she could finish Zadkiel wave his hand dismissively “No need for formality Sera” he reminded.

“You’re Scared, Terrified that She might fall… Angels Do have such fear… you do things to protect your sister, Quite a noble cause if I have to say so myself…” Zadkiel chuckle.

“Zadkiel… sir..”

“Right, Zadkiel… may I ask, what you seems to be so fond of humans?” she asked carefully, Zadkiel glance at her and he already knew his answer

“Because all Humans have choices to Change for the better or worse… no matter If they’re dead or alive” He responded before looking back down at the sky full of clouds

“humans are intriguing, They’re weird with their little quirk and How they act… they’re Mortals… they sometimes believe in god and some of them don’t, I find them Pleasant to be Around, Lively even if they’re gloomy…”

“But they… they destroy themselves” Sera can’t help but to object, she Couldn’t understand why Zadkiel was so fond of Humans and Souls… yes there’s Winners in heaven but Sera never really interact with them.

Not that she Hates them, No! It’s just she never really Know what to do near them… it’s like… just weird, Adam was a different case, She know how to be around Adam even if he’s a human soul.

And even with Adam she still can’t understand most of his antics…

“They do that, Destroy themselves and Build themselves back up… what makes them interesting, We angels do destroy our self too! But the difference is… we always cried for God’s Forgiveness while some humans doesn’t, Trying in their own strength without begging others…”

She could see it… the gleam in his eyes, Admiration… why? Why was this Archangel so fond, So Amazed by humanity? Knowing that some Humanity goes against their god? And some didn’t even believe God exist.
