"Habang ikaw ay nag babakasyon kahit saan man parte ng mundo, ako ay nag aalala pa rin sa kinabukasan mo, Melzhaine— Don't worry you're in good hands with Evron marami itong alam tungkol sa labas pasok sa pag handle ng iba't ibang klaseng business"

Akala ko ay makakaluwas na ako, but no I guess my Father had anticipated this already that I won' take him seriously

"Don't worry Melzhaine, your Brother Jairos will also train but will be under my Brother, Elliot" Evron Ambrose, replied fiddling with a red pen on his hand,

Nakiki Melzhaine? close ba kami?  tinignan ko itong si Jairos mukhang wala rin siyang choice but to oblige with them I heaved a heavy sigh as much as I do not want to be any part of this I'll still end up being cornered anyway

"What?" Ngayon nakikita ko ng medyo may pagka galit na itong Ama ko sa tono niya pa lang 

"I said I'll think about it Dad" I stood  up from my swivel chair ready to leave anytime soon

"Melzhaine Delara, have I really been that soft on you as a Father para mag pakita ka ng ganitong klaseng ugali? How unprofessional!"

He was basically raising his voice now at this point pinapatahanan itong siya ni Auntie Caramina because he might collapse due to his condition

Recently my Father has been diagnosed with coronary heart disease, though despite my Father is still healthy ay may edad na din ito and he cannot be caused stress as much as possible

Pero sa'akin pa lang ay punong puno na sila ng stress

"Take a rest Dad, iupdate ko nalang kayo, good bye everyone"

Tinignan ko itong kaibigan ni Dad na si Evron at nagkatitigan lang kami habang ako'y palabas ng conference room, with Todd of course tailing me like a puppy with his nervousness

"Ah fuck! putang ina talaga!" Sigaw ko sabay hampas sa maputi at maliit na bola, my voice echoed throughout the whole private area of the golf course 

"Girl chill, don't take it out on the golf ball, kawawa naman" wika nito ni Asha.

Clementine "Asha" Ruevo Hong. She's my closest best friend, nagkakilala din kami noong nasa college pa lamang kami, when she was also taking up Fashion and merchandising, isa rin sa mga may malalaking kompanya na hawak ang pamilya ni Asha.

The Hong Luminiere corp, hindi lang Hotels ang pinapatayo but as well as malls, her Father manages the businesses in Hong Kong habang andito siya sa Pilipinas with her Mother who is Filipino, who manages also a few branches of their malls here.

Basically Asha is a Chinese-Filipino, since ang kaniyang ama ay isang insik.

"What happened ba? here have some champagne" compared to me ay medyo mas less maarte ito, yes I admit maarte ako so what.

We sat down on the table where there was a patio umbrella covering us from the heat, kailangan ko talaga ma i-channel ang aking galit at kainis dahil kanina sa meeting

"It's my Dad Asha! he wants me to be involved na sa Family businesses! and get this---pintawag pa talag ang kaniyang kaibigan all the way from London to here para lang ma train ako? what the hell!"

Tumawa ako at napatayo sa aking inuupuan, at napahawak ako sa bewang ko

"Okay? Maybe this isn't such a bad thing? face it Zhaine, you're twenty seven after all so  hindi mo naman masisisi si Dad mo if ganiyan yung approach niya" Aniya habang uminom ng champagne
