Harry's POV
"Who in their right state of mind calls a three-headed dog Fluffy?" Blaise complains as we sit in the library.
"He is quite cute, when you get past all the sharp teeth and drool."
They all look at Soleil as if she was crazy, except me, I just laughed.
"Most importantly, who is Nicolas Flamel?" Hermione asked as she read through the index of a book about famous wizards and witches.
"I think Gran mentioned him a couple of times," Neville answered. "Along with something about him being centuries old."
That Nicolas Flamel? Gods, Nico always complains about Dad complaining about him. Flamel is that wizard with a magic stone and a lot of Elixir of Life. Maybe Fluffy is guarding the stone or the Elixir?
"I've read in a book," I lie so that I don't spill my secrets, "that Nicolas Flamel is a centuries old wizard with a magic stone and the Elixir of Life."
Blaise nods in agreement. "The Philosopher's Stone."
"We'll have to do some research about him." Hermione adds in, finally looking eager to participate now that she knows who and what to search for.
"But the Christmas holidays are around the corner!" Soleil whines, earning a harsh shush from Ms Prince. "Are any of you returning home?"
"I am, mum and dad have already made plans." Hermione answers, a happy glint in her eyes.
"Gran wants me back home too." Neville sighs, resting his head on his fist.
"I've got a few balls to attend to," Blaise says with a huff. "Including the Malfoy's."
Soleil snorts as she pats his shoulder. "Good luck, buddy. But I'm going back too, can't wait to see mum."
I'm going back to Camp Half-Blood for the holidays, but as I'm supposed to still live with the Dursley's and nobody knows how abusive they are, I just say that I have to go back with them.
"I'm going back to my uncle's house." Chiron is my uncle, though. He's also a son of Kronos, like Hades.
We all fall into a comfortable silence as we go back to completing homework to have a less amount during the holidays.
Soleil's POV
I ignore Ronald's stares as I pack my trunk. I look over at his bed and trunk, seeing them all untidy with clothes, books, quills and pieces of parchment everywhere. A snort leaves my throat as I go back to packing.
"How do you pack so neatly and effectively?" Seamus asks me in awe.
"It's called organisation and patience."
I can practically hear him roll his eyes as he turns away to carry on with his packing.
I look over at Harry's packing. It's immaculate. There's not a single piece of clothing that is folded even slightly wrong and everything is placed so neatly that there isn't even a millimetre of space that's unoccupied.
"And you haven't asked Harry?" I say with a chuckle.
"Practice." He answers straight away, his voice coming off cold and emotionless.
I lean towards him. "You good?" I whisper.
"Hm?"
"I know you heard me, why did you sound so cold?"
"Nothing." He shrugs my concern off, not even looking at me as he answers.
I nod in acceptance, knowing that he won't answer the truth until he wants to.
"I'm here for you." I whisper at him before going back to my packing.
Harry's POV
Soleil's words echo in my head. A small smile appears on my face, looking over my shoulder to look at her. I turn back to my packing, the smile not leaving my face.
I close my trunk and set it on the floor, watching Soleil do the same.
"Ready to go?"
"Yep." She says, making the 'p' pop.
We link our arms together and drag our trunks behind us, towards the common room.
Blaise's POV
Harry and Soleil are the last ones to enter the compartment I had managed to save for us.
"You're finally here, the train was about to leave without you two." I tell them, playfully rolling my eyes at them.
"Let them be." Hermione says as she lightly slaps my arm.
Harry and Soleil laugh, sitting down next to each other on the same bench as Neville.
"Sorry, sorry, someone had to drop their trunk, making it snap open and spill many of its contents." Harry teases, giving Soleil a fake glare.
"Oh I'm sorry that someone practically pushed me down the stairs." Soleil accuses him back with another fake glare.
"Okay, love birds, calm down." Hermione sighs as she snaps her book close, setting it down next to her. "Let's not turn our last day together before Christmas into a bad one, yeah?"
Neville nods in agreement, hugging a strange looking plant close to himself so that the train's movements don't make it tip over.
We spent the rest of the train ride laughing and eating sweets, enjoying each other's company before the ride ended and we would have to split ways.
As the train slowed down and entered the station, the view out of the window came into focus, showing us the students' parents and relatives noisily waiting for us.
As we say our goodbyes, I spot my mother walking away from the Malfoy's and striking a conversation with the Italian speaking man that brought Harry to the station at the start of the school year.
Harry runs past me, jumping into the man's open arms.
Nico's POV
Believe it or not, I had missed having Harry buzzing around happily around camp. As I talk with Ms Zabini, I notice her son walking towards her.
In a matter of seconds, a black blur rushes past him and towards me. I quickly open my arms and embrace Harry, hugging him tightly.
"I missed you so much!" He exclaims once I set him down again.
"Missed you too, kiddo." I reply, a shit-eating grin on my face as I ruffle his already messy hair.
The Zabini's are soon forgotten as Harry explodes in excitement and starts rapidly talking about things that had happened at Hogwarts.
"Where's Will?" He asks, interrupting himself from his long rant.
"It's winter, less sun for them." Harry nods, knowing exactly what I meant. "But he's dying to see you, so let's get going."

A/N:
I guess I owe an apology and an explanation?
Sorry for not updating during the whole summer holiday. I was planning on doing so as I'd have more free time, but that idea went outta the window when this huge ass writer's block came barging into my brain. My second, and last, reason is that I'm having some big family issues right now, and that's made writing go down in my priority list.
On a good note, thank you all for the 200 followers! I've been writing on Wattpad for less than two years and I'm still amazed by how this story in particular is gaining popularity.
Sorry and thanks again!
Love y'all <3
