Emily's heart raced as she and Jack pulled up to his family's house. She had heard so much about his parents and younger sisters, and she was nervous about making a good impression.

Jack took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry, they'll love you," he said with a smile.

As they walked in, Emily was greeted by Jack's warm and welcoming parents, Mark and Karen. His sisters, Mia and Lily, were bubbling with energy and curiosity.

Over dinner, Emily charmed Jack's family with her stories and laughter. They asked her questions about her art, her favorite books, and her childhood.

As the evening drew to a close, Jack's mom pulled her aside and gave her a hug. "We're so glad you're a part of our family now, Emily," she said, her eyes shining with tears.

Emily felt a sense of belonging and joy, knowing she had found a second family in Jack's loved ones.

As the night went on, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the way Jack's family interacted with each other. They were so warm, so loving, and so supportive. She felt like she had finally found a sense of belonging, like she had finally found a family that understood her.

As they sat around the fireplace, Jack's sisters regaled her with stories of their brother's childhood antics. Emily laughed until her sides hurt, feeling like she was a part of something special.

Later, as they were getting ready to leave, Jack's mom pulled her aside again. "Emily, we're so glad you're a part of our family now," she said, her eyes shining with tears. "You bring out the best in Jack, and we're so grateful for that."

Emily felt a lump form in her throat as she hugged Jack's mom tightly. "Thank you for accepting me into your family," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

As they drove away from the house, Jack turned to her with a smile. "See, I told you they'd love you," he said, his eyes shining with happiness.

Emily smiled back at him, feeling like she was finally home. "I love them too," she said, her heart full of joy.
