"Higher ladies!" I yelled at the girls while my flyer was thrown in the air and did a flip then came back down landing in the girls arms safely.
"Don't you think you're being a little too tough on them?" I turned around smiling at Lamar as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Not tough enough finals are coming," I shrugged before kissing his lips he pulled away seconds after glancing over my shoulder.
I looked over my shoulder to see Hannah the girl who hates my guts but faked it because I was captain. She was eyeing Lamar I chose to ignore it and pulled away from his arms as she did the splits for no reason.
"Lamar," I hissed he looked to me snapping out of his daze "Sorry..."
I knew something was wrong but you know when you ignore it in hopes of being wrong... I was wrong right now.
"Girls you're done for today!" I yelled they all sighed happily.
"So today's Friday are we still up for the date?" I asked him he groaned "I'm sorry babe I totally forgot I have to baby sit my sister-"
I saved him off "It's okay... I understand," I muttered at him before pulling away from him and going to my stuff to pack up.
I ignored the pain in my chest and hurt I was feeling. "What about Saturday?" He asked in my ear lowly I shook my head and pulled away from him with a glare "I'm busy," I muttered "That's why we scheduled Friday," I spat.
He sighed pulling away "Why are you being a bitch? I just have to watch my sister you always get like this when something comes up," he spat I glared at him harsher.
"Lamar jerk ass so happy to see you! Leave now," Charm hissed at him with a glare.
Lamar rolled his eyes "Whatever I was leaving anyways," he muttered before storming off the field.
"I honestly feel so guilty," Charm muttered as she looked at me with sadness.
"Why is that?" I asked as I grabbed my sports bag.
"Because if it wasn't for me driving you to the game you wouldn't be with that asshole," she hissed and glared at her hands "Why did you drive!?" She hissed at herself I laughed at her and smacked her arm playfully.
"Can you come over today?"
"Nope," she said popping the 'p'.
"Hot date with grandma," she laughed I nodded remember how she was going to her grandmas house in another town.
"Ah almost forgot grandma duty," I chirped as we reached my car.
"Isn't Tate home anyways?" She asked I nodded smiling happily. Tate always came back on weekends from his college campus that was a few towns over to visit me. He was getting his business degree to take over his family's company.
Tate could have easily gone to Harvard but he stayed back in Arizona with little ol' me seeing as he was my legal guardian until I was eighteen and that was in a few more months. Dad trusted Tate the most with me and when dad passed away Tate was eighteen so he didn't have a problem leaving me in his care. Grandma frequently came around but she wasn't moving out here from Maine and nor was I moving all the way to Maine.
My dad knew that and he always wanted me to be in a comfortable place when he left so hence the reason Tate took over.
Tate and I always hung out every Friday today was usually me and dads pizza date... Lamar was suppose to join in because I wanted him and Tate to get along but they seemed to oppose of that idea not even knowing each other.
