"What?", She exclaimed. "No, no no this is not happening, Why? H- How?! Haa, I must be dreaming haha, Please tell m- me that I'm dreaming", She said as Krishna was looking at her smiling without even blinking.
She pinched herself to get out of that dream only to hiss in pain. Krishna walked past her enjoying the beautiful scenery in front of him. "Waahh, how beautiful is this place, right sakhi?". Vaishnavi just needed answers at this point as she was in no mood to focus on anything, let alone enjoy the scenery, right now.
"Krishna, please answer me." Vaishnavi whined. "I am answering sakhi. You are not ready to listen to me" said krishna.
"Please, let me go back to home kanha".
"Aww, you don't want to be with me", Krishna said pulling his sad - cute face.
Vaishnavi immediately went "No, not lik-" "NO?!", his face became even more sadder now. She went, " Noo, I mean yes, uh not that yes but-" she didn't know what to say.
Krishna just laughed and said, "Sakhi, you are here to witness that epic, which will explain how to live your life. That epic, which has changed the course of Aryavart. That epic, where I gave a reality check not to just Arjun, but the whole world for a better future. That epic, which you have been researching about, which interested you to join archaeology. That epic, which is the greatest epics of all time".
Chills ran down her spine. She didn't know what to say. All she felt was tears brewing on her eyes. "Why me kanha?", She asked. "What great deed did I do to witness this great epic". Krishna chuckled, saying, "VAISHNAVI". She felt goosebumps as he uttered her name for the first time, "Do you know the meaning of your name?". She just stared at him. He continued, "Energy of Vishnu".
'Wow, am I the chosen one?' she thought, looking up at the sky giggling to herself as she was on cloudnine. Krishna coughed a little to get her attention, chuckled by saying "Uhm, you can say that".
"Y- You can hear my thoughts", she asked bewildered. "Duh. I am god bruh", he said unamused. 'Wow, I have to keep my thoughts clear now. Don't think anything bad, don't think any-, oh Goddd! Help me', She thought. "I will always help you, Sakhi", Krishna said.
She looked up at him with a shocked expression, and this time, before her thinking anything, he nodded bursting into laughter. She also joined the laughter, having realised that she is dealing with not just a demigod, But the supreme god himself.
After the laughter died down, she slowly asked, "Just tell me, how did I even get here?". Keshav sighed saying, "Humans indeed are more curious than a cat, aren't they?". She just gave a sheepish smile.
He just smiled and asked her, "Tell me, what was the last thing you remember before waking up near the pond?". She kept her index finger on her chin thinking what has happened. "I was in Nepal, went to research about Gandiveshwar Sthan, just to get hit with a stick by this weird looking, HUGE old guy and the next thing I remember is -", She trailed off. "I- I'm here".
"Haa, you got the point Sakhi", Krishna said clapping his hands. "But, how?", she asked confused as ever. "This is not the right time to know that. I'll tell you when the time arrives" he said, Sighing.
"But-", as she started to speak, she was cut off by an overdramatic keshav keeping his hands on his head, whining, "Oh myself, She asks a lot of questions", saying this, He kept his index finger on her forehead. She looked at him confused, and was about to open her mouth, he immediately went, "Nope" and he pushed her back.
Suddenly, a gush of wind enveloped her and she could feel herself falling down. She realised that she is going back to reality. "Hey, you can't do that, first answer my questions", she screamed through the wind which was pushing her back to Matsya Kingdom.
"NAH", that is all he said. She screamed, " WHAAATTT?!, You can't just NAAHH ME". He just laughed and said, " Don't worry, I'll come and meet you soon".
She opened her eyes to meet with floor on which she just has fallen. "Ouch", she winced. The needle, that was in her hand, is gone now. 'oh Thank you Kanha', She thought. 'your welcome sakhi', She heard him in her mind.
Chuckling, she got up from the floor, only to get punched by the man whom she attacked earlier. Even though it feels like an eternity, it was just a second ago she was acting all hysterical.
"Woah woah woah wait", she exclaimed as Virat advanced to attack her. She ran from him as he chased her. "I'm not a threat to you I swear", she shouted while running.
The guards, who were getting ready to help the people of Matsya from the unannounced threat they encountered, caught her as soon as they sensed a threat from her too. Their Noble prince was chasing her it seems.
The weirdly clothed girl made everyone scrunch, as she was dressed in a very immoral way. Virat came forward in a swift motion, like he was about to behead her. Fearing for her life, she closed her eyes and screamed the supreme's name again, "KRISHNAAA".
Wow, I am really free today thus the back to back updates. It might be the case for tomorrow as well who knows lol. But from the day after, I'll be stuck up at my HECTIC work. Sheesh work life sucks.
Finally, Vaishnavi got all the answers from Krishna. Well, did she?
