It's been years since I last updated this story, but I thought I'd finish it for fun. Seeing as my writing skills have improved, moving forward the writing will be different. Regardless, happy reading!

After Courtney had hung up the phone, she quickly got ready to go out. Memories flashed through her head as she put a fresh pair of clothes on, memories of them sitting by the campfire, sneaking around camp, and so much more.
Let's face it, Courtney was not only miserable because Duncan had cheated on her, but also because she lost him.
Deciding she looked presentable enough, she rushed out her front door and got into her car. The first place she checked for Duncan was at the bar.
'Maybe he'll be at work,' Courtney had thought.
However, when she walked into said bar, Duncan was nowhere to be found. Courtney asked a couple of his coworkers about his whereabout and all of them had said he resigned the day before, saying he was searching for better opportunities. Sighing in frustration, Courtney stormed out and into her car, driving off to the next destination.
Slowing her car as she passed by a familiar alley way, she found once again that Duncan had since left it.
Courtney knew one place she had to check, but she had hoped she'd find Duncan beforehand. Shooting off a text to Bridgette, she bit her lip to keep herself focused. Not a minute later, her friend had sent her the address Courtney dreadfully asked for. Putting it into her gps, she was relieved to find it only ten minutes away. Courtney rested her head against the steering wheel, she whispered words of encouragement to herself.
"I have no reason to be nervous, not when she was the one in the wrong... I really hope I don't find him there though.."
Finally, putting her car in drive, Courtney drove off to what used to be Duncans home. She pulled up to a row of nice-ish apartments, she got out and looked for a specific apartment number. Once She found it, she knocked on the door a couple times before stepping back a bit.
When the door opened, the first thing she saw was Gwen's familiar blue and black hair. Gwen was dressed in an oversized T-shirt and plaid pajama pants--she was probably lounging around.
"Oh. Its you," Gwen started off, looking her up and down.
"I thought you didn't recognize me," Courtney said as she raised an eyebrow.
Gwen let out a dry laugh. "Of course I knew it was you at the grocery store, we spent a lot of time together on that dreadful tv show. I just didn't want me and Duncan to spend time catching up with you, when you'd clearly do anything else."
"..Seems like I was wrong," She added with a knowing smirk.
"What do you mean by that?" Courtney responded, having a feeling she already knows the answer.
"Duncan was here yesterday to pick up his stuff. After a bit of pushing, he mentioned how he'd been hanging out with you recently." Yep, just as Courtney thought.
Wait, if Duncan only has a motorcycle, how could he have grabbed all his things without using a moving truck or having someone help him? Knowing Duncan, it probably wasn't a moving truck.
Courtney paused. "Did you see who was with Duncan when he was grabbing his stuff?"
Gwen nodded. "You remember Geoff, right? He was with Duncan. You hooked up on Duncan again?"
"Thats none of your business," Courtney bit out.
Gwen put up two hands in defense. "Hey, I'm not judging you or anything. I actually think it's good for the both of you." Seeing Courney's questioning gaze, she explained further. "Me and Duncans break up was inevitable. We were unhappy for a while before we saw you again, and although the reason for our fall out wasn't.. preferable, it was a long time coming. I know you'll make Duncan happier than I ever did. You've already done it before."
Courtney took in Gwen's words, replayed them in her head, and thought them over repeatedly. Not having much else to say, Courtney gave a short goodbye and Gwen did the same. They didn't have much to say to the other.
Back in her car, Courtnye pulled out her phone to call Bridgette. Even though a lot of teenage relationships from total drama had a falling out, Bridgette's and Geoff's were still going strong to this day.
"hello, Courtney?" Bridgette's voice sounded out.
"Hey Bridge, is Geoff there?" Courtney asked.
"Of course he is, why? What's going on?"
"I heard he helped Duncan move his things out and I'm wondering if Duncans with you guys right now?"
"..I see you decided to search for him," Bridgette chuckled, "yeah, he's here. He stayed the night in our guest room. You're welcome to drive here to see him if you want." of course that's what Courtney wanted.
"Yeah, I'd like that. I'll be there as soon as I can."
Courtney hung up and looked down at her phone in thought. Her friend's house is around four hours away--one of the reasons Duncan didn't stay at their house when he had nowhere to go.
Regardless of the long drive, Courtney put Bridgette's address into her gps before driving off.
