Courtney's POV-

I can't believe that had happened. I knew I hurt Duncan, I seen right through him. Doesn't he deserve that though? After all he brought up the most hurtful feeling in me on that stupid show. But I can't help to feel that one ping of guilt deep down. Then again I knew the kiss would've led to something passionate, but regretted and more pain the next day.

No ones POV-

Courtney was stressing big time, she was having a war with herself. She should've known when to stop.

'He deserves to leave, I mean he was taking advantage of me!' She thought trying to convince herself.

'But, sadly, I had let him so technically he wasn't. Damn it.' She stomped her foot in frustration.

With Duncan-
'Women, you can never understand them. One minute your kissing and everything's good, then the next thing you know, your being forced out the door because she still holds a grudge on you' Duncan thought as he sat on a barstool with a drink in his hand. He was at his work, because other than that, he had no where to go - He had no one that would let him stay with them. Or the circumstances are just way unbearable.

Staying with Geoff was a no due to the constant making out which he had with his girlfriend Bridgette, and to Duncan it was annoying as hell.

Gwen or Trent was also no exception, due to the earlier events. So that was a no go.

Courtney, defiantly not in a million years or basically forever, again due to the earlier events. And even if he could, he couldn't bring himself to do it because it would hurt him emotionally.

Other than that, the rest of his friends or family were either busy, or it would be awkward, or he'd barely known them.

"The streets it is", he bitterly muttered.

Duncan walked down the grey sidewalk looking for a potential area to sleep for the night. He spotted a small alley way and decided it was better than nothing and sat down there.

(The next day with Courtney) -

To let off some steam, Courtney decided it'd be best if she went out and collect her thoughts. She walked down the single sidewalk taking deep breathes. Even if the event had happened the other day she still had it stuck in her head. Courtney didn't know if she should feel guilty or reassured he wouldn't bother her.

As Courtney came close to the corner of the sidewalk she spotted something in the alley beside her. It looked like a sleeping figure if a man. Curious, she took a closer look and stepped back in shock.
'He was actually telling the truth when he said he had no where to go' Courtney thought.

There before her rested Duncan against a garbage bag on the cold alley ways ground.

'Its all my fault', Courtney thought. She had kicked him out and he didn't have no where to go. You'd think she'd blow it off and say,"he deserves it", or, "He had it coming". But no she only felt an ache in her heart, Courtney knew she was feeling guilty... maybe even a bit more but she wouldn't look to deep into that.

Duncan stirred slightly, sending Courtney in panic, she'd look helpless if he awoke and saw her. But to bad for her because he was already waking up. Duncan opened his eyes slowly adjusting to the brightness of the sun. he noticed a pair of feet next to him and he looked up to find Courtney looking down at him teary eyed.

"Courtney?" Duncan spoke breaking her out of her trance.

"Duncan I..I... I'm so sorry, I didn't know you'd be stranded like this I-" Duncan cut her off with a scoff.

"Oh geez Courtney, you kicked me out and now you feel bad?" He said with a glare. 'he's right' was all Courtney thought her eyes watering more. And you didn't know the half of what she felt when he didn't call her his usual pet name.

"Listen I'm going to just leave, but I hope you know this." Duncan paused to see if she was listening, which she was so he continued. He stepped closer to her and took her hands in his.

"I want you to know I love you Court, I always had and always will. And I don't know how many times I have to say this but I'm sorry." Duncan paused again, he couldn't believe he was getting emotional right now.

"I always thought of you when I was with Gwen, me and her never had the push and pull like we did. I can't stop thinking about you when I'm laying down at night, you make me restless." Duncan started again. Courtney let a few tears slip, but she couldn't care less.

"Since I know what you'll say I'll be taking my leave now, if you share my feelings then find me again. I'll be waiting, and if you never come... then I'll continue on the best I can." He said finally letting her hands go. before receiving her response he walked past her.

Courtney just stood there letting him walk away from her, she couldn't believe that just happened. She knew she kept bringing up the cheating situation to him when he tries to get her back. But she knew she should've forgave him already than being so stuck up and stubborn.

"I'm such a fucking idiot" Courtney cried.
