She was surprised that Harry was being so generous in this situation , he was her best friend but he wanted more . He loved her with everything he had . They had been "just friends" for years.
Although, her parents had forbid her from dating him .

He had told other that he was madly in love with her , but she never wanted to believe it because she valued her parents opinions more than anything .

With them out of the way they could be together now is the way someone viewed it .

Autumn got off the phone with the detective and looked at Harry .

"Do they have any suspects yet?"
"No, I don't think so , but I have no idea how this happened."
"Well, I have to go to work. But please stay here all day . Just make yourself at home , I'll only be gone for a few hours."
" I guess I will because I can't go out looking like this hot mess."

Harry leaned over the arm of the couch towards Autumn and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Try to hang in there please , I love you . Try to have a good day."

And Harry walked out his front door .
Autumn seemed to have just wandered around the house all day making various phone calls for funeral arrangements and stopped to cry between every phone call . The dates were set , the funeral was two days away .
She was a hot mess , she decided to hop in the shower to get her mind off things . She knew it felt good to wash off the old make up and tears .

She forgot she didn't have any different clothes because she had came over in such a hurry , so she just hurried to Harry's room and looked around for some clean clothes . She pulled a pair of his joggers out of the closet and threw them on along with a white v-neck t-shirt . She threw her hair up into a messy bun .
She decided to sit in the living room for awhile , but her mind was going crazy . She wasn't thinking straight when she walked out the front door and headed down the block . She walked and walked until she ended up in front of her house .
She crossed over the police tape and headed onto the porch . She went up and sat in one of the big rocking chairs . This was somewhere she loved to sit as a kid , she sat out here and watched the cars drive by whenever she had something on her mind .
She knew all of this just had to be a part of some sick and cruel joke .
