Chapter 5

Huaisang awakens early the next morning and dressed himself. He knows that he is taking a huge risk here, but he did not care. He has to make sure that the two men had indeed come back, and with Jin Guangshan searching for the yin iron pieces that will surely spell distaster once again for the whole cultivation world well he could not sit by and let that happen not again.

When he landed just outside the small village, he was nervous and scared. He was scared that the two men would kill him before he could even speak a word and nervous because he did not know how they would receive him. He walked towards the entrance of the village and when he arrived he found himself standing in front of the barrier that surrounded the small village.

He could hear talking and laughing from inside the barrier and he took a deep breath before he lifts his hand and knock on the barrier twice before he let his hand fall to his side while he waited nervously. He looked around the place, but he was surprised when he did not see other sect disciples around.

"Strange, you would have thought that someone would have come here to harass these people."

He spoke softly to himself as he turned his attention back towards the barrier when he heard nearing footsteps.

Wen Ning was surprised to hear the knocks on the barrier. He could not help but think that the Jin would not be so polite as to knock on it they would rather try to break it down. He looked at Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, where they were playing with their son. They stood up and motioned to Wen Ning that they would go, and Wen Ning nodded his head. He picked A-Yuan up and walked towards his rooms.

"Who do you think that it might be Lan Zhan?."

Wei Wuxian asked as they walked towards the barrier.

"I have no idea, Wei Ying."

Lan Zhan answered him as they walked. They both stopped in their tracks when they saw who it was, but surprisingly, they did not feel any anger or resentment towards the young man that's standing outside the barrier. Once over their suprise and shock, they walked until they stood opposite Huaisang inside the barrier while Huaisang stood outside the barrier.  His mouth opened in shock, and his eyes wide with disbelief when he saw the two men.

"Wei-xiong. Lan-xiong."

He bowed in, greeting once he was over his shock, and the two looked at him with a blank look on their faces.

"Nie-xiong, what brings you here?."

Wei Wuxian asked, and Huaisang lifted his head, and sadness overtook his face before he spoke.

"Wei-xiong. Hanguang-Jun, I am sorry for what happened. I had no idea he would be playing on how much they hate you, Wei-xiong. It was never my intention that the two off you would be hurt or get killed. I only wanted him to pay for what he did to my brother."

Huaisang said with a small voice, and Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji just kept looking at Huaisang. Nothing of what they thought could be seen on their faces, and Huaisang flipped his fan open to hide half of his face behind it.

"I believe you, Nie-xiong, but after everything that had happened, we can not trust you anymore. If that is all you wanted to say, then I will go back to my little radish."

Wei Wuxian said before he gave Huaisang a small nod of the head and turned on his heels, and Lan Wangji followed him. Huaisang understood where they were coming from, and he did not blame them.

"Sect leader Jin had sent out disciples to look for the yin iron."

He said calmly and hard enough for the two men to hear, and they stopped in their tracks but did not turn around, and Huaisang continued.
