Part 8 : Moments

From now on story might be a little rushed as my exams are approaching.

Taehyung was greeted back into the world of living by a voice which was blabbering in his ears.

"-ake up please. I am sorry i came late to meet you but i was busy. I really wanted to meet you and talk to you after you were attacked but king didn't allo- b-but here you are sleeping like a log.....You know, I have a question for you. How do you manage to get attacked again and again? Like how and why?.....Anyways leave that. You know how worried I was? You were looking really injured, you were though.....I was scared....."
(An ‐ Basically, she was blabbering anything cause of her emotions)

Taehyung was looking at Jieun's face the whole time she was speaking. She was looking at the floor so was not able to see Taehyung awake.

"There's no need to be afraid, you know. I am here."

Jieun looked at him and with the speed of light and hugged him while being careful of his injuries.

"Tae oppa. I missed you."

Taehyung got up and sat slowly with the help of Jieun.

"You really do get attached quickly, don't you? One evening with me and we are this close that you look like you will cry any mome-wait, you....were crying before, right?"

"Uh..um..yeah?"
Jieun answered the question avoiding the part of her getting attached to Taehyung quickly.

"Is that a question or an answer? Nevermind, I am here now, so be happy. No need to cry."

Taehyung took Jieun into his embrace and to lighten the mood whispered in her ears.

"Has anybody told you that you blabber like a child?"

He expected Jieun to throw a tantrum on this but he really didn't expect her to clutch the shirt he was wearing and start to breathe in an unsteady manner with a rapid heartbeat.

"Jieun what happened? Did I say something wrong?.....Please, respond"

Taehyung was trying hard to get Jieun out of her daze but Jieun's mind was taking her to different places, more precisely,,to Jungkook's study and her past.

Flashback (or what Jieun's thinking)

"Hyu-...oppa, may I come in?" Jieun knocked at her brother's study room with her small hands.

"Aish, again I was going to call him hyung. Stupid brain. Why don't you understand that he doesn't like it."

When there was no response from inside, she slowly peeped inside.

Jungkook was discussing about making a bridge over the river that they had in Avaloria so as to provide ease to people.

Jungkook noticed her and the said.

"Oh, Jieun. Don't you know you should knock and come?"

"I-I am s-sorry. I'll wait outside. I just wanted to show you something. I made something for you. I hope you would like it. I worked hard- "

"Later, Jieun."

"-to make...huh..oh..okay."

Jieun was going to shut the door and stand outside when she heard something that made her heart clench.

"Who was she, king Jungkook?"

"Oh, um..ah..a daughter of a maid. Got close to us as she is living here."
