Part 9 : The Accusation

"Why do always I have to go to inspect Eldoria? There are more trained people out there, why me? I don't want to goo-"

Knock knock

Jieun who was whining in her room to herself in her room. All these years, she had no one to listen to her so she had developed a habit of talking to herself. Upon hearing the knock she got up and rushed towards the door to open it.

Jieun's pov

"Who the heck is there-"

"......"

"Oh, Head Warrior Yoongi-ssi...hehe..I am sorry..hehe..."

'What the- What is he doing here'

"Jieun, it's time to go."

"Oh..you are also coming with me?"

"No, you are coming with me and Namjoon"

"Oh..great."

'Great indeed, the two most toxic ones.'

Jieun came out of her room and started walking beside Yoongi in the hallway. Yoongi started to tell her the proceedings of the day.

"Me and Namjoon will go to kingdom Eldoria to check if everything is alright there-"

"Wait. I was going to Eldoria right?"

"No and don't interrupt in between. You will go to the tribal areas. "

"Really?"

"Hmm"

The three of them departed Avaloria on a carriage. In between the journey, Jieun got off the carriage near the tribal areas in the forest. She was supposed to check if everything was alright in the kingdom or not.

This plan of going outside the palace and checking while in a disguise was started after the attack of one of the tribes there.

This was suggested by Jieun. Of course due to which there were contradictions but Jieun who wanted her kingdom to fare well insisted upon her suggestion which also resulted in getting slapped by Namjoon the first time in front of the whole court of ministers. But at last, her idea was implemented on ground.

Jieun was roaming in the forest when she heard some noises. She quietly sneaked behind the tree to track the sound that alerted her. Suddenly she caught a glimpse of something moving beside her and the corners of her lips quirked up. The next moment two hands came and lifted her up and.....

"Hahahaha....Put me down, Hyunwoo."

"Nope, not happening."

Hyunwoo lowered her down to the ground level but kept Jieun close to himself, hugging her.

"Pretty please."

"We have met after so long but it seems like you didn't missed me at all."

"I have not missed you or you all seem to have forgotten me? Not a single letter in these four months."

"Aww...Is my baby sad?"

Hyunwoo said in a baby voice.

"No, definetely not, why would I be sad-"

Jieun was going to say something sarcastic but she was cut in between.

"If you both are done, please let's go home."

"What's the hurry, Minjun. Let us both meet properly."

"We all want to meet her, Hyunwoo. You are not the only one who have met her after a very long time...and the reason we didn't contacted you was because we had decided to travel to the north for sometime and that took time. After coming back just got caught up in a few things and was not able to contact you. And I-no, we all are sorry for that."
