As the day wrapped up to an end.
Armin felt really awkward and embarrassed.
He did have feelings for Eren, but things were really sudden.
Armin was now laying on a bed in the hospital, because during the escape he sliced open his arm.
It was not large or small. Either way it caused pain.
He looked up at the ceiling and remembered all his friends killed.
Tears started to well up at his eye corners. 'Why couldn't I help?'
'Why did I not help?'
'And I really that useless?'
But his thoughts were gone when he heard his door crack open.
"Armiiiiin!" Sasha yelled and gave him a big hug. "Ah I didn't expect visitors." Armin chuckled. It was all his other friends.
The closest ones, the ones he truly cares about.
"We were really frightened when we heard you got hurt, since we are not on the same team, we thought it was critical." Connie, Sasha, and Mikasa said. "Ah-h no it's nothing to worry about, just a cut. Sorry to have troubled you all." He apologized.

As time passes they had left.
"Eren, are you coming home with me?"
Mikasa asked.
"Oh no, I'm gonna hang with Armin, to make sure he's gonna be well." Eren told her.
"Oh.. Well don't stay too long. I'll start to worry if you don't make it back.." She said walking out the door.
Armin tried his best to not look directly at his friend.
"Hey Armin, do you like staying here?" Eren asked to bring up conversation.
"U-uh yeah it's fine, I'm used to being here, since all the bullying.." He responded.
After that the room went to utter silence.
"Also E-Eren, why did you, uh, k-kiss me during the escape?.." Armin asked awkwardly.
"I was worried." Eren said
"What?" Armin shot back
"I was afraid, if we didn't make it back I would've never been able to tell you how I have been feeling for you all these years and I wanted to tell you with a kiss.. I hope that was okay.."
Eren said with a sigh.
Armin couldn't believe what he just heard. He had a feeling of tears and his face was complete red.
He didn't know how to respond.
"Ah well, I see I made things awkward for you, I'm sorry. I'll be going I guess.." Eren said waving.
Armin didn't want him to go, but he couldn't move his body to stop him.
"E-Eren wait, please don't leave yet!" Armin yelled.
As Eren turned around to feel a grasp on his arm.
He looked down to see Armin holding onto him.
"Please.. Don't go yet.. I-I do also have feelings for you. I was just shocked by the sudden move and scared. I do not want to make you upset and embarrassed. Just please don't leave yet." Armin said tears coming down his face.
Eren stood, Armin still holding his arm.

Eren leaned down, face to face with Armin.
'He looks so cute like that.' Eren thought
He then took Armin's hand in his and looked at him.
Armin still avoiding eye contact.
Then a sudden hug broke his thoughts.
'Eren is warm.'
Armin was blushing madly.
Then Eren broke apart and asked.
"May I.. Kiss you?"
Armin nodded
And then their lips met.
And their hands entwined.
Armin's chest was filling up, this moment was beautiful for him.
He didn't want to stop, but Eren had to go.
Their lips then parted and Eren said.
"Sorry but I have to get home, or Mikasa will bitch about me not showing up early."
"Yes I understand, good bye. Oh and also.. Thank you.." Armin responded.
Eren smiled and then went out the door.
