Morning then came. Before you knew it the scout regiment was ready to fight against the Titans.
And they were in the maneuvering gear ready to go.
Eren searched for his blonde partner but accidentally bumped into Jean. "Hey watch it Jeager, I know you seen me coming!"
"If I did then I wouldn't of ran into your sorry ass, Jean." Eren shot back. Jean then walked away with an awkward expression on his face.
Then Eren heard a female voice call his name. "Eren, if you need the help, come get me immediately." Mikasa stammered. "Hey, I don't need you all the time to back me up, Mikasa! I understand were 'family' but we can't always be there for each other. We're not even in the same squad. So stop trying to help me! Worry about other people for once!" Eren yelled. Mikasa looked upset.
They then both turned around to see Armin standing there with a confused face. "Is everything okay?.." He asked. "Yes, I was just leaving.." Mikasa said. Then ran off and left Armin and Eren alone in a crowd. "Armin.. I can't tell you to be careful enough. I'm so worried about losing you and the team, mostly you though. just please" Eren was saying but was cut off by Armin's unexpected hug. "Haha Eren I told you I will be fine." He smiled as saying the words and made Eren smile too. "Alright let's go!" They both said synced.

The team met up on the roof. "Alright guys who's ready to kill these beasts?!" Mina Carolina screamed. "Woo yeah!" Many of the scouts yelled as holding their blades in the air.
Armin and Eren exchanged looks and also picked up their blades. As the captain gave orders Eren told Armin strategies and to stay with him. Armin agreed to everything. They then jumped off the roof, blasting through the sky with their maneuvering gear causing smoke trails. And before you knew it the whole team was going different places.
"Phew, that was tough." Mina said. "All we did was go to a new area, Mina we haven't even started." the team laughed at Thomas's comeback. Then things became serious.
The squad took a look over and seen a whole bunch of titans. way more than half of the teams combined. "Wow.." Armin gasped. Eren seen his friend worried then took his hand in grasp. Armin looked over and seen Eren looking in his eyes.
He then shook his head yes, meaning not to worry we got this. Even though most the squad knew not everyone was gonna make it. One by one each member leaped off the building heading for a titan. When Mina leaped off she was then caught by a mini titan. It grabbed her grappling hook.
As she screamed in fear blood was shed.
It was Eren.
He saved Mina and she thanked him with tears in her eyes.
Armin's eyes sparkled 'Wow Eren is truly amazing' he thought.
But then came back to reality when her heard Eren screaming his name while grabbing his wrists and running.
"Armin! What are you dong we have to get off the ground." Eren told him.
As they ran Armin turned his head back to see a crawling titan and a mini one eating a member of his squad.
His eyes widened and felt tears welling up.
'Oh no, not now Armin. Come on keep yourself together' He thought to himself.
He failed. he started screaming and bawling super hard.
Eren turned back to see his crying friend and ran into a building with him.
"Armin why are you upset?!"
"How can I not be upset? People are being eaten by these things and we are failing terribly." Armin came back.
"We can do this Armin." Eren said
"N-No we can't, Eren, don't you get it. We can't keep doing this. Sacrificing our lives because their just gonna keep coming back. Regenerating their health like no tomorrow. I can't do this Eren. I just ca-" Armin tried to finish but was stopped by a pair of lips on his.

Too many things were happening then.
Then Eren parted his to say.
"Let's go back Armin."
Armin nodded in silence.
'Why did Eren kiss me?'
'Was it just to shut me up?'
'Because he felt bad?'
Armin felt like his heart was gonna explode from that kiss.
Eren took Armin's wrists and into and alley way. They both grappled up to the roof top searching for other squads.
