Time Travel. Seems quite impossible eh? Well anything is possible with the intervention of a divine entity that is God himself.
Join the journey of Vaishnavi, an Archaeologist...
The people around her started cheering and clapping for the valiant act by Vaishnavi. Everyone was also confused on who this goddess of a lady is. As the cheers slowly died down, many people started noticing her.
She looked different, speaks different and most of all, has a deadly weapon which can kill you effortlessly. Now, people started to get suspicious of the foreign girl.
Everyone started questioning her, "who are you?" "Why are you wearing such immoral clothes?" "what was that weapon you used?" "Are you a Rakshasi?"
By the last question, everyone started to get tensed up. Just then the Prince announced in a loud voice saying, "she is no Rakshasi", stopped and turned to her, smiling, he continued, " But the sister of Vasudev Krishna".
Upon hearing that, people started to cheer again. Virat gave her an approving nod continued by a smile, which she reciprocated. Everybody were singing her praises and basically carried her in a palanquin back to the palace.
'Whew!! Thanks Dad for the licensed revolver you gave me despite my protests'
Internally, She thanked her dad, A Police officer in a higher position , who out of love and fear gave the licensed revolver to his daughter for her safety from God knows what danger.
The whole of Matsya kingdom was elated to have the sister of the divinity himself. While, she felt a little guilty upon knowing that everyone here really are believing that she, indeed, is the sister of Kanha.
But, the treatment they are giving right now is... Amazing. She just chef kissed herself for knitting a lie so damn good.
There was an environment of celebration in the whole palace as Vasudev's sister, a maiden named Vaishnavi, is here. A special dinner was arranged for her. She forgot about the world and just started eating without any care. Virat, who was sitting beside her, looked at her bewildered, thinking, 'This weird lady can't surprise me anymore', and chuckled to himself.
She just looked at him, who was looking at her with big eyes, and said, "Hey, dont eye at my food, you will get yours soon". With that everyone burst out laughing.
The king immediately went, "Hahaha, Virat, she is just like you when you were a child. If your younger sister was alive, she would've been the sam-", the words died down in the king's throat.
Everyone present there stopped doing whatever they were doing and it was quiet all of a sudden. Vaishnavi, with a fully loaded mouth, turned to look at Virat as she didnt seem to understand what was happening.
But by then, he was not there anymore. He left the place. The king said, "I'm sorry for ruining the mood of today's evening. Let's just forget what has happened and please continue with the dinner". He announced and left the place. All the chatterings resumed and the palace was again filled with people's yapping with hunger but Vaishnavi was already a mile away from hunger now. She needed answers as she can't see people who trust her being sad.
She went out in search of Virat after washing the hands, only to find him in the garden area of the palace. He was looking at a tree intently. She just went and stood behind him, not knowing what to say.
"You know, my father was right. My sister Tara would've grown to be just like you if she was alive. Brave, valiant and super messy", he chuckled with tears.
"May I know why you believed when I told you that I am Vasudev's sister? There was no reason for you to do that." She asked curiously.
"I still don't belive that. But I know one thing. That is, you are a woman who never kneels down in front of someone who has power. And the stunt you pulled out there, only a god or a person equivalent to God can do that", He smiled.
"Thus I gave you the benefit of doubt that only a person related to a divine person like him, would do that" , he sighed before continuing, "and also I've sent people to Dwaraka to inform about your presence here". Saying this he turned around, now his whole concentration is back to that one particular tree.
"Well, thanks for doing that". She turned to leave but she just couldn't leave him alone like that. She decided to stay back "You know, I also had a brother", she started, catching his attention, "with whom I was very close. Even closer than my own moth- oh, I've never experienced motherly love. Right, my bad", he turned around to look at her.
"But he too left the world too soon, because of th- those, Bloody crimin-als- heh", she choked on her own saliva, before continuing, "and his name was Virat". Virat was shocked to hear that.
"I never wanted to blame my father for this but I did, as he was a cop, and I feel immense guilty for what I have done in the past. Thus, for my safety, my dad gave me this revolver, which is licensed", she showed him the empty gun which he was examining very intently.
"You don't really need gods to use that you know", she said. Virat chuckled at that and said, "well, your Virat is not here anymore but, you can consider this Virat as your brother".
At that, she couldn't control herself and fell on her knees to the ground, crying uncontrollably. Her hair, which was on a bun since morning, was left loose now. As she cried, her long locks were collecting her tears, as if not letting the land of Matsya to get sad by the heaviness of those drops coming from those deep Wells of her eyes.
Virat consoled her by rubbing her back, but was confused about one thing.
After her long crying session ended, she got up from the ground, smilingly looking at Virat, said, "Thanks for that, Virat Bhaiya". Virat felt a wave of emotions in his heart remembering Tara, who died of illness at a very young age.
He quickly managed to wipe the tear that was escaping from his left eye, which did not go unnoticed by Vaishnavi.
"Vaishnavi?", he called her. "Yes bhaiya?" , she responded almost immediately. Controlling his emotions, he asked that one question that was bugging him. "You told your brother died because of some reasons, one of them being your father, right?".
