Zion Imagine-Childhood Friends

Zion Kuwonu Imagine Part 1

Backstory: You grew up with Zion but slowly lost contact with him when he moved to LA. Then years later, you have an acting gig in the new movie (which is made up by the way) called Dreamscape, so you move down to LA. You are at the mall shopping for a skateboard when you hear his voice.

"Damn, are you sure this is the right one?" Zion says. I turn and look towards the sound of the familiar voice. I see my childhood best friend and immediately sprint up and tap him on the shoulder. It takes him a second but then he recognizes me and gives me a bear hug.

"OMG! Y/N what are you doing here?" He pulls away but still leaves a hand on my arm. It causes me to blush and smile at him.

"I am in a movie. So I got to move here and now see you, which is the best part!" I giggle and hug him again. He hugs me back and that's when his friend walks into the store. I recognize him from the band (it's Austin Porter). Zion notices me looking at someone and turns.

"Oh, dude this is my childhood friend Y/N. Y/N this is Austin and his son Theodore." I wave at them and make a face at Austin's son, making him laugh.

"Nice to meet you, Zion has told us a lot about you. Especially how he has had a crush on you since like forever." Austin starts laughing getting a slap in the arm from Zion. I blush, hiding my face in the process.

"Oh, I actually knew that. It was a little obvious back then." Zion did a double take and looked at you with a shocked face. "It was? But how I thought I was sneaky about it." He looked down and so I rubbed his back.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I liked you too ya know. But let's talk about this at another time though." He looked at me and nodded. The three of us continued to hang out and catch up until I had to leave because I had to wake up early the next day. So I exchanged numbers with them and waved goodbye.

The Next Day:

My alarm went off at 5:30 am so I got up and put my outfit on for the day.

The Outfit:

I get into my car and head off to the movie set. Once I'm there, they immediately bring me to the changing room so I can try on the first outfit for the movie.

Here is the first one:

You look at yourself in the mirror and twirl because you just can't help yourself. The makeup and costume artists (sisters named Julie and Sarah Greene), laugh at my excitement and you bow.

"You like the first outfit huh?" Sarah asked. I nod and go to change into the second one.

Second Outfit:

I look around and notice how much room the wings are taking up.

"Holy shit! Wings are big, aren't they? But I can't wait for these scenes." I turn to look at them and they nod in agreement.

"Yep the director wanted them big so here they are!" Sarah says. The director, Tim Burton, loves these types of dark things (A/N: I mean isn't that kinda obvious 😀) so I am really excited. Other than the fact that it is the Tim Burton, who happens to be my favorite director ever.

"So, Y/N, Today we are going to meet the other cast members. How does that sound?" Julie asks. I give her a thumbs-up as an assistant helps me take off the wings and the skirt. As I finish changing back into my clothes, we head into an office and I immediately go into fan-girl mode. Not only was Tim Burton there, but my co-star who plays my love interest, Tanner Buchanan (from Cobra Kai (Played Robby Keene)), and Kristen Bell playing my mom. Among other celebrities. I shook Tanner's hand and went to shake Kristen's but she ended up pulling me in for a hug. "Oh ok well it is nice to meet you all in person for the first time. I'm super excited for this movie!" I sit next to Tanner and he smiles at me. I smile back and take a look at the script. This is our first reading in person since I was in Ottawa until last week. Tim shuffled some papers and cleared his throat, calling for our attention.

"So as you all know, this is Miss Y/N's first big movie so let's give her a round of applause." Everyone looked at me, smiled, and applauded. I shyly looked away and said thank you to everyone. Then we put our attention back onto Tim.

"Anyway, let us flip to the first page where Y/N and Kristen will start us off."

The end of the day(several hours later).

I go to my car when I hear my name being called.

"Y/N! Hey, wait up." I turn and see Tanner running up to me and placing his hand on my arm. I look at his hand and then back up at his face.

"Do you need something? Because I had plans to hang out with my old friend that lives here." I ask politely. He looks down at his hand and pulls away.

"Oh um, I was wondering if maybe you would like to go out maybe some time with me. Unless that is too far since we are co-stars." He says with pleading eyes.

"Um..."
