By the time Ansel returned, the sun was out. He walked through the puddle, bringing him back to the human realm.
"Holy shit."
Ansel turned his head to a teenage boy. He had curious brown eyes and fluffy brown hair hidden underneath his hoodie.
"What are you? How did you do that," he asked.
"My name is Ansel. I am friends with Bucky," Ansel introduced.
"You know, Mr. Barnes?"
"Yes..."
"Cool. You must be a new avenger then," he grinned, "My name is Peter."
"Hi, Peter," Ansel smiled back, "I'm not a new Avenger, unfortunately. Although, I am a fan."
"Same," Peter agreed, "I should get going. See you later, Ansel."
Ansel waved at him while watching him leave. Then he made his way towards the Avengers tower. On the way, he saw someone selling flowers.
"These are pretty," Ansel asked, examining the blue forget-me-not flowers.
"Aren't they? Great for that special someone you love," the salesman said.
"How much are they," Ansel asked.
"Bouquets are $10," the salesman said.
Ansel tilted his head in confusion. $10? Does he have that much? He reached into his pocket and pulled out five pure gold coins.
"Do you have anything for five gold," Ansel asked.
The salesman picked one up. It felt and looked like the real thing. He stared at Ansel in disbelief.
"Shit. You can get an extra one on the house," the salesman chuckled.
Ansel knelt down to pick three flowers that stood out to him.
"I just want these," Ansel smiled, handing him the gold.
He continued walking towards the building. When he reached his destination, he stood outside of the Avengers tower.
"Ansel?"
Ansel looked over at Bucky with a grin.
"What are you doing back here," Bucky asked.
"I was waiting for you. I wanted to ask you on a date," Ansel asked, a hopeful gleam resting in his eyes.
