Alpha Caleb's Witch Mate

Alpha and Luna Duties

"Caleb and Serena should be back home. They were supposed to have left early this morning." Pope says to Jackie as they are cuddling on the couch.

"Maybe Caleb couldn't resist being away from Serena, and they haven't made it home. If you are a Beta and haven't kept your hands or body off me, he as an Alpha is lost in the lust of the bond."

"My Alpha is a responsible leader, so he should be waiting for us at the office, once he has seen Aiden, of course."

They got into the car drove to the Alpha house and walked straight to Caleb's office. Serena and Caleb were sitting on the couch with Aiden on his lap. They have set up a corner of the office with a playpen and toys for Aiden. He is wrapped around the little boy's finger already.

"Hey, the missing finally showed up," Caleb said with a chuckle.

"I see Serena is walking." Jackie could not help commenting.

"So, are you. I thought Pope broke my human best friend."

"Hey, don't pick on my mate, Serena. She can keep up with me."

"Wow, I guess she was meant to be mated with you. I am really glad she has you, Pope. Jackie is the sister I never had."

"Guys, stop talking as if I am not here. I love you too, Serena, I am also happy that you have Caleb and Aiden."

"Well, we need to start our day and teach our ladies how to be a Luna and Beta."

"Someone is forgetting that I have Alpha blood, and being around the packs is beginning to wake that part of me up."

"Sorry, love. I did not forget. Just that right now, I want to enjoy my Luna."

They went through the paperwork to catch up on the time that they had been away. They talked about the girls' responsibilities and what it consisted of.

"Caleb, I want to start training for the women of the pack. I think it is important for the women to learn self-defense in case we were ever attacked."

"I think that is a great idea, love. We can get our best warriors to do the training. We can do it by age group, so it is fair across the board."

"That sounds like a plan. Let's put it into effect a week from today." Serena put that on the calendar satisfied with this plan.

"We need to have some kind of dinner party so that Jackie and I can be introduced to those Alphas that missed out mating ceremony. We should have a good relationship with the Lunas and She-Betas. Think of all the charity work we can come up with to help the smaller packs that are in need. This would mean more allies for our pack."

Caleb got up from his desk and stretched. It was getting late in the afternoon and he was getting hungry. All he wanted was to finish work and get some dinner."

"Anything else girls? We should call it a day and get some dinner."

"One last thing, baby. I want to have a mating ball for the unmated wolves."

"A mating ball?" Caleb and Pope asked at the same time.

"Yes, a mating ball. You and Pope ended up finding us outside of the pack. If we host a mating ball, we can invite the unmated wolves, male and female, from all the different packs. This will give everyone a chance to socialize and find their Mates. 

"Yes, we can do this. Pope, you will be in charge of putting this together and helping the girls with any details they may miss."

"It would be my honor to work alongside my Luna and Mate."

Then it was dinner time. They walked into the pack's dining hall and sat at their table, placing Aiden in a highchair in between his parents. Asher and Eva joined them, and they started making small talk while they ate. Jackie was excited telling them how beautiful the house that Pope bought for her was. They made plans to have their first dinner party in their new home. Caleb said he had the perfect spot to start building their new home since they wanted to raise their pups in a home instead of the pack house. Jackie and Serena planned to go shopping and explore the town the next day. They parted ways after dinner, and everyone went home. The next day, Serena dropped Aiden off at the pack's daycare and met with Jackie to drive into town.
