the train ride was honestly horrendous since the kid sitting next to you could NOT stop moving. he felt the need to slap your phone while you were playing slither.io and it was pissing you off.

thankfully, you had reached tokyo already and immediately got off the train. you looked around for your friends and spotted two guys waving their hands up in the air.

bokuto immediately ran towards you and scooped you up in a hug while kuroo slowly trailed behind him.

"y/n!! it's so good to see
you!!!! i missed you!!"

"hi kou!! i missed you too!"

he put you down and kuroo embraced you

"hi y/n, it's been awhile hasn't
it?"

you hugged him back

"yeah! it's been like
10 years!"

you let go of him

"mimi says she misses you and
she says you two should come visit
her soon"

bokuto koutarou
"oh my god! i miss mimi and
her cooking! we'll visit soon!
how's kita"

"he's great"

kuroo tetsurou
"you only miss mimi because
she's the only one who was willing
to play go fish with you"

bokuto koutarou
"that's not true! she baked me a cake
for my 6th birthday when my parents
were in tokyo"

kuroo tetsurou
"yeah yeah whatever, lets
go to your house now"

kuroo pulled your luggage as the three of you then made your way to bokuto's house

bokuto and kuroo had been your childhood friends since birth. they were your next door neighbours growing up and you spent every second of your younger days with them. when they turned 8, kuroo's parents decided to move to tokyo for work. however, kuroo didnt want to move so he stayed with bokuto's family, until they turned 12 and bokutos family also decided to move to tokyo.

of course, it was sad for 11 year old you when your two best friends moved away, but you still kept w me in touch with them and facetimed them at least once a week.

the 3 of you went to bokuto's house to put your bag and then he brought you to a cute lil cafe on the side of a street. you all ordered food and drinks and sat down at a table.

you started telling them about your student council election, you and suna, and just filled them in on your life in general.
