you were currently on the train back to hyogo. bokuto's whole family decided to send you to the train station this morning, which left you with a very fuzzy feeling. however, you weren't too upset about leaving them since they'd be staying over at your house for 2 weeks during the summer break.
you had texted suna, asking him if he was still coming to pick you up, which he said yes to. you then texted him the platform number and he said he would see you soon. now, your train was about 3 minutes away from reaching, and for some reason you felt kinda nervous.
once you reached the station, the moment you stepped out of the train, you were met face to face with suna
"how did you know i was in this cabin"
suna shrugged
suna rintarou "just a lucky guess, what can i say i'm a magician"
you rolled your eyes as suna took your bag from your shoulder. you looked around the station.
"has your dads train left already? did you wait long?"
suna paused for a second before replying
suna rintarou "oh uh— yeah it left like 15 minutes ago, it's all good"
"oh! whens he coming back??"
suna rintarou "uh in like a month??"
"oh! that's long"
suna rintarou "yeah it's alright though"
the two of you walked back to your house. once the two of yall reached your doorstep, suna said
suna rintarou "put your things in the house and then come back out"
you looked at him confused
"huh? what for?"
suna rintarou "i wanna take you somewhere"
you didn't question him and did as he said. you put your things in your room, told mimi you were going out for awhile and then left the house.
"where are we going now?"
suna rintarou "it's a surprise"
you rolled your eyes and followed him. the walk to wherever suna was bringing you was long and tiring. he brought you through a forest, which was kinda spooky.
"are you sure you're not gonna kill me? please don't i haven't told mimi i loved her today"
suna laughed at your response
suna rintarou "i'm not dont worry. it's a lil further ahead, maybe like 10 minutes? suck it up wont you?"
you scoffed
"there's literally mud on my shoes! you can't even tell what colour they are anymore"
suna rintarou "no one asked you to wear your air forces, you were wearing crocs just now"
you huffed
"well, i thought we were going somewhere nice. you made it seem special"
suna rintarou "it is, okay we're here"
suna led you to a small open field, with a big tree in the middle.
suna rintarou "i come here when i'm happy or when i'm sad"
suna rintarou "in the spring this tree becomes a gorgeous cherry blossom tree, here let me help you"
at the side of the tree, there were a few steps leading up. suna stuck out his hand for you to hold, and you gladly accepted as you climbed up the stairs. the tree seemed to have a small little treehouse. once you reached the top, you looked at the view. from the balcony, there was a little opening which showed a huge waterfall. right next to it was a small flower field. suna stood behind you as he explained
suna rintarou "the waterfall is really gorgeous, this whole place is really"
you didn't say a word since you were shocked by the view. you took out your camera from your purse and took a picture of the view then turned around to take a picture of suna. he held up a peace sign as you laughed.
he then led you to the sheltered part of the treehouse, where there was a little mini fridge and beanbags.
"there's food? wouldn't it have expired by now?"
suna rintarou "no, i came here last night and brought food for us"
when you heard that, you swore your heart melted. you joked with him
"do you bring all your girls here?"
suna rintarou "nope, just you"
and that's when your heart exploded, no one has done something like this for you before, let alone put in the effort to do anything like this. it truly made you happy to know that suna did this just for YOU.
the two of you sat on the beanbags and started eating the food suna prepared for you. however, his phone was vibrating non stop.
"do you need to get that phone call?"
suna put his phone on dnd
suna rintarou "nope it's just my younger sister, probably prank calling me"
you laughed. the two of you watched the sunset while talking about, anything and everything. suna was too lost in conversation with you that he failed to see his sisters message
