Episode 5 the backbone of the vees season finale

An overlord meeting is happening and velvette is the only Vee member to go to the meeting

*Velvette walks into the meeting room, feeling a bit out of place among the other overlords. She takes a seat at the table and waits for the meeting to begin*

Carmilla walk in as the leader of the overlord meeting

*Velvette sees Carmilla enter and feels her heart rate increase. She tries to remain calm and composed, but she can't help but feel nervous*

Carmilla: I glad all of you show up well some of you I wish I never seen again

*Velvette stays quiet and listens intently as Carmilla begins the meeting. She tries to avoid eye contact with Carmilla, hoping that she won't notice her presence*

*After the meeting everyone started leaving* carmilla: velvette you stay

*Velvette's heart sinks when she hears Carmilla's voice calling her name. She knows that she's in trouble, but she doesn't know what for. She takes a deep breath and stays seated, waiting for Carmilla to approach her*

Carmilla: it been while now since well you know can you tell me how long has it been

*Velvette hesitates for a moment before answering* Velvette: it's been about two months since we broke up.

Carmilla: velvette do you regret dating me

*Velvette looks down at the table, feeling guilty* Velvette: I... I do regret it.

Carmilla: may I ask why

*Velvette takes a deep breath before speaking* Velvette: I regret it because you were always so controlling and possessive. You never let me have any freedom or independence. And I couldn't take it anymore.

Carmilla: I just wanted to protect you like a good girlfriend

*Velvette shakes her head* Velvette: You weren't protecting me, you were controlling me. And it wasn't healthy for either of us.

Carmilla: because you're the backbone of the vees

*Velvette looks up at Carmilla, surprised by her words* Velvette: What do you mean?

Carmilla: it doesn't fucking matter all that matters that you were a bad girlfriend

*Velvette's face turns red with anger and embarrassment* Velvette: I wasn't a bad girlfriend, I just wanted to be treated with respect and dignity. And you couldn't give that to me.

Carmilla: I know you don't mean the words you say I know you're just scared of Devin because he threatened me and the kids

*Velvette's eyes widen in surprise* Velvette: You... you know about Devin?

Carmilla: what do you think you work at his studio and now living there

*Velvette sighs and nods* Velvette: I know. I'm just scared of what he'll do if he finds out that we're still talking.

Carmilla: would you be angry if I found a different woman?

*Velvette looks away, trying to hide her emotions* Velvette: No... I wouldn't be angry. I just want you to be happy, even if it's not with me.

Carmilla: I hope you get a happy ending too

*Velvette smiles slightly, touched by Carmilla's words* Velvette: Thank you. I hope so too.

Carmilla: but I no, we have to pretend to be enemies from now on, but I want you to know I love you

*Velvette nods, understanding the situation* Velvette: I love you too. And I promise I'll do everything I can to keep up the act.
