*The next day, Valentino saw Devin looking at the name of the studio looking sad*

Valentino observed Devin from afar, his eyes narrowing behind the red heart-shaped sunglasses. He could sense the sadness radiating off of him, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Not after everything Devin had done. Still, Valentino couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity. **(Dialogue)** "Devin," he called out, his voice laced with disdain, "What's got you so down?" Devin turned to face him, his expression unreadable. Valentino approached him, trying to mask the fear that bubbled up inside him. **(Thoughts)** *What game is he playing now?* Devin gestured to the sign above the studio entrance. **(Devin Dialogue)** "This place," he said softly, "It's just a reminder of how far I've fallen." Valentino snorted. **(Dialogue)** "Fallen? You built this place on the blood and tears of innocent people!" Devin's eyes flashed with anger, but then he looked away. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Maybe I did," he muttered, "But it's all I have left." Valentino scoffed. **(Dialogue)** "Pathetic," he spat, turning on his heel to leave. But before he could take a step, Devin grabbed his arm. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Where do you think you're going?" Valentino yanked his arm free. **(Dialogue)** "Away from you," he said coldly, "I'm done being your puppet." Devin's expression hardened. **(Devin Dialogue)** "You belong to me, Valentino. You'll always belong to me." Valentino shook his head, his voice steady. **(Dialogue)** "I belong to myself. And I'll never let you control me again." With that, Valentino walked away, leaving Devin standing alone outside the studio. **(Thoughts)** *I hope Summer is far away from here by now.*

Devin: Have you ever heard of a woman named Miranda Vee

Valentino froze at the mention of the name. He had never forgotten her. Miranda Vee, the most beautiful actress he had ever worked with, the one who had stolen his heart only to be brutally taken away by Devin. He turned to face Devin, his jaw clenched tight. **(Dialogue)** "Why are you bringing her up now?" Valentino demanded, trying to keep his emotions in check. Devin's lips curled into a cruel smile. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Just wondering if you missed her," he said, tauntingly. Valentino's fists clenched at his sides as memories flooded his mind. Miranda's laughter, her smile, the way she looked at him...**(Thoughts) *I can't let him see how much she means to me.* He took a deep breath before responding. **(Dialogue)** "Miranda was just another whore who couldn't handle the heat," he lied, "I have no use for weaklings." Devin raised an eyebrow. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Is that so?" He leaned in close, his breath hot on Valentino's ear. **(Devin Dialogue)** "I remember it differently. You loved her, didn't you?" Valentino pushed him away, his heart racing. **(Dialogue)** "Shut up," he snarled, "She meant nothing to me." Devin chuckled darkly. **(Devin Dialogue)** "If that's true, then why does it bother you so much every time I mention her?" Valentino turned his back on him. **(Dialogue)** "It doesn't," he said flatly, walking away, "Just don't waste my time with such trivial matters." **(Thoughts) *I need to find out what he did to her.*

Devin: She was my wife

Valentino stopped dead in his tracks, his heart skipping a beat. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. Miranda Vee, Devin's wife? All this time he had been working for the man who had taken away the only woman he had ever loved? **(Thoughts)** *This can't be real.* Slowly, he turned back to Devin, his expression unreadable behind his sunglasses. **(Dialogue)** "Your wife?" he asked, his voice dangerously calm, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Devin shrugged, a smirk playing on his lips. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Why would I? You were just another tool to me." Valentino's anger boiled over. **(Dialogue)** "You disgusting piece of filth!" he shouted, lunging at Devin, "How could you do that to her?!" Devin easily sidestepped Valentino's attack, laughing maniacally. **(Devin Dialogue)** "Oh, Valentino," he said, "You're so predictable. Did you really think you were special?" Valentino glared at him, his fists clenched so tight his knuckles turned white. **(Thoughts)** *I need to kill him.* He took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. **(Dialogue)** "What did you do to her?" he growled, his voice low and menacing. Devin's expression darkened. **(Devin Dialogue)** "She's where she belongs," he said coldly, "In Hell." Valentino saw red. **(Dialogue)** "I swear to God, Devin," he seethed, "If you hurt her, I will make you suffer." Devin simply laughed. **(Devin Dialogue)** "You and what army?" Valentino straightened up, his chin held high. **(Dialogue)** "I don't need an army," he said, venom dripping from every word, "I'll tear you apart myself." With that, he stormed off, leaving Devin standing there with a smirk on his face. **(Thoughts)** *I need to find out where Miranda is and get
