"Haha. You are really funny, Vaishu", both the girls laughed at some stupid joke cracked by Vaishnavi. They could hear some noise of mace, sword fighting, men chattering as soon as they entered a forest area. It appeared like some sort of Gurukul from a distance.

Vaishnavi wanted to know where were they. So she peeked out if the palanquin to ask a guard. But before asking, she saw a temple. Right, she hasn't visited any temple yet. She got intrigued to know more about the architecture of the temples present in this timeline to compare it with those of her timeline.

She asked the guards to stop near the temple. Dushala asked her the reason. She told her, "Dusha, you are going home after a long time spent in Kanya kul. Don't you think we will first visit a temple and go?". "Hmmm. Sounds like a great idea. Let's go.", Subhadra chirped in.

As soon as they entered the temple, She saw the most beautiful idol of Lord Ram sitting Royally inside the Sanctum Santorum. The architecture was brilliant. She remembered that she visited this temple in her era. Oh how bad they have maintained this piece of art.

She chuckled as she saw the uncanny resemblance between the idol and her Kanha. No one seems to realise the fact that they are the same entity, but in future they will.
"Princesses, please accept the aarti", the priest offered.

The wife of the priest, who was there sewing separate flowers together, saw them and came to them. "Hail the Princess! Aren't you the infamous foster sister of Vasudev? I've heard a lot about you. Your beauty is unparalleled, your talents and your bravery... Aren't you from outside of Aryavart? How's it there?" She bombarded her with questions catching everyone's attention. Everyone were more interested to learn about the foreign girl who possess great knowledge.

'Wow, Even i haven't heard these about myself', She internally chuckled.

"Yeah, we have a lot of things which are very different from one another. From dressing to weaponry, From dancing to singing, Fro-", she was cut off by the old lady, " Singing? Wow!! Do you guys sing about our Lord Ram?".

"He is everyone's god, and yeah we do", She answered politely. "Then princess, Can you please sing a song for us?", The old woman pleaded. "Uhmm... I-" she was unsure of what to say. "Please princess, we want to hear it". Slowly one by one started requesting. She couldn't say no to them so she agreed.

She started singing, mesmerizing everyone in her vocals.

Kaushlya Dashrath Ke Nandan

Ram Lalat Pe Shobhit Chandan

Raghupati Ki Jai Bole Lakshman

Ram Siya Ka Ho Abhinandan

Everyone in the nearby Gurukul stopped doing whatever they were doing, lost in the magical voice of a lady Singing a song, A tune they have never heard.

Anjani Putr Padhe Hain Charan Mein

Ram Siya Japte Tan Man Mein

Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari

Drabahu Sudasarath Achar Bihari

The students of that Gurukul, who looked like princes, were so much into the song, that they stopped practicing.

A certain Archer, who never stops practicing for any reason, stopped at once by hearing to the melody. "Who is that? I've never heard this melody before". As a student of art himself, he was more intrigued by the tune and melody, especially, the voice.

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

He immediately followed the voice, as he just had one thing in his head right now. He has to see the face. He ran towards the direction from where the voice was coming.

Mere Tan Man Dhandkan Mein

Siya Ram Ram Hai

Man Mandir Ke Darpan Mein

Siya Ram Ram Hai

Tu Hi Siya Ka Ram

Radha Ka Tu Hi Shyam

Janamo Janam Ka Hi Ye Sath Hai

The teacher of the Gurukul, who didn't understand why the princes stopped practicing, got distracted by the voice himself. Everyone in the temple were blissful listening to that song.

Dushala and Subhadra were doing the aarti to the idol while she was singing. The Archer boy was running towards the direction without knowing the destination. With the hovering winds, as if it was trying to stop him, even leaves falling for her voice, This looked no less than a movie scene.

Tulsi Mein Bhi Likhi Ye Baat Hai

Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari

Drabahu Sudasarath Achar Bihari

He didn't know why that voice felt so close to him, yet so far away from him. He noticed a temple from a certain distance. He immediately made out that the voice was coming from there.

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

Ram Siya Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram

By now, everyone joined her in singing. Only one thing was in all their head. JAI SHREE RAM. Maybe the song held the power to hold everyone's hearts. Or the voice. Or the Maiden who owned that voice.

As they realised that the song ended, everyone held a disappointing look in their faces.

'shit! Didn't they like it?'

"Why did the song have to end so soon", "Never heard a tune like this, ever", "It felt like my lord was with me", "This is out of world". She held a relieving face after hearing the comments.

'Phew, they liked it. Thanks to the music directors in our country'.

The Archer boy reached the temple which he felt like took him and eternity. He went inside, only to find no one except for the priest and some old people, of whom that voice definitely did not belong to.

He was standing there confused, contemplating to ask anyone about the person who sang, just then he heard a voice calling him, which he immediately understood that the voice belonged to one of his brothers.

"Arjun!!"

I felt like Ram Siya Ram would be a perfect song for the scenario.
