"Hey, that's her right?"

"Did you hear what happened?"

"Yes, I even saw it with my own eyes."

*She nearly killed him."

"Really? How?"

"She just pushed him but he flew across the field."

"How did she do that?"

"I don't know."

"I even saw her eyes turn red for a moment."

"Really? Are you sure you're not seeing things? There's no way that could've happened."

"I really saw it."

"She's scary."

"She's a freak."

"We better stay away."

"We could be next."

Those were the countless whispers I heard from the students that gathered around the commotion that happened at the school field yesterday. I happened to push the most despicable person I have ever known in the whole world when I saw his smug smirking face plastered all over his face. How could I be so stupid? To think he would be the most angelic person I thought he would be. But, turns out I was wrong. I'm just being delusional. A rumbling sound came out from my throat as I kept thinking of what happened that day. After my "outburst" yesterday, it only made it worse.

"Are you okay back there, sweetie?"

"I'm fine, Dad." I sigh to release some anger bottling up inside of my chest.

"Are you sure, dear?"

"Yes, Mom. I promise."

"I hear your heart beating fast. I also noticed that you've been holding your breathe while spacing out until now."

"I can control it." I insisted.

"You're starting to change, Cass. There has never been anyone to control their first phase of changing."

"Dad, please. I'm trying to calm down. You're only making it worse."

"Sorry, sweetie. I'm just reminding you."

"I know."

"But, don't you think it's a bit late for her to start to changing like this Marcus?"

"I was thinking the same thing, Elena. Still, we can't ignore the fact that we can actually feel that she is changing."

My Parents and I are driving to the new school that I was transferred to. Driving for hours in the middle of a forest since dawn and my butt is starting to hurt from sitting here in the back of the car.

"Are we really in the right path? We've been passing countless of trees as we drive, Dad. Are you sure we're not lost?"

"I'm sure, sweetie. I know it's been years but both your Mom and I still remember the way there. After all, that's where we finished most our school years." Dad answers.

"What was the name of the school again?"

"Unicus Academiae." Mom answered it this time.

"The same school that Aviae mentioned?" My voice soften as I mention her. She's still a sensitive topic for us.

"Yes." Mom delicately confirms.

The way her voice strained a little, I didn't bother to ask more questions. Instead I entertained myself to the view from outside the car window. I opened the window to let the fresh air swift by. As the car moves past the talls trees, sunlight seeps between leaves. Both cool and crispy breeze hits my face.
