"In 'ere all fo yeh!" Hagrid called out the students as they arrived, "Got a real good lesson for yeh all! Follow me!"
All the students walked after Hagrid, reaching an area at the edge and filled with trees.
"Gather around the fence all of yeh! Now, yeh all have to- open yer books, aye?" Hagrid began.
"And how exactly do we do that?" Said a cold voice from behind.
"Eh?" Asked Hagrid, confused.
"How do we open our books?" Said Draco in a mocking tone, finally coming from the behind.
Y/N scoffed, "As though you will study that book, seagull-looking creature." She said loudly making the Gryffindors beam proudly (and some even whistle) while the Slytherins hissed.
Malfoy glared at her disgustedly and was about to snap back when Hagrid coughed loudly.
Hagrid couldn't help but give Y/N a thankful smile and say, "Er- well, yeh jus' have to stroke their spines."
"Oh yeah just stroke it!" Malfoy continued to mock him.
"I- thought they were funny..." Hagrid said silently but Y/N heard.
She felt her heart sink at Hagrid's voice and turned back to Draco, "Malfoy, if you don't shut the fuck up right now-"
Without even realising and ignoring Hermione's warnings, she had taken a step forward and was about to reach him but felt a pair of hands on her waist.
"Leave it Y/N, he's not worth it." Harry whispered in her ears, sending shivers down her spine, feeling her body relax.
However, Draco glared at the two with an odd sort of an expression which Y/N couldn't quite place.
Hagrid broke the tension, "Righ' then...Now er yeh all need the magical creature. I'll go an' get them."
He walked away to bring the creature.
As he went out of sight, Malfoy began loudly, "God this place has gone to dogs, with this oaf teaching classes, wait till my father-"
"Don't you dare call Hagrid an oaf, Malfoy." Harry said in the same loud tone, almost threatening him.
A silence fell over all the students, Y/N looked at Harry like a proud mum, Ron chuckled and Hermione sighed.
Draco said, "Why Potter? I can do anything I like-"
