Years late

Chapter 5

3rd POV

It was currently morning and The daughter of the Mori family Kanako was currently getting ready to go to school, it also seems like she was running late since her alarm clock was still going off.

Kanako can be seen still sleeping in her bed without a worry in the world, that was until she heard her mother's voice echo through out the Mori family household.

"Kanako Get up, You're already running late today and your bother already left !"

Kaede screamed as she stood in the kitchen looking at the clock that hanged on the wall.

It seemed like it was already 8:17 meaning that Kanako was indeed running late.

Kanako quickly sprung up from her bed and then looked around her room, only for her eyes to land on her alarm clock that was still going off, Kanako ran her hand through her hair and sighed deeply cause she knew that she would definitely be late today.

"Kanako are you up Yet !?"

Kaede once again screamed to see if her was finally awake from her sleep.

"I'm up mom, I'm going to start getting ready now !"

Kanako shouted her response back at her mother to let her know she was awake and starting her daily routine.

"Well hurry up, you're going to be late !"

Kaede shouted at her daughter as she went back to doing her morning routine.

You're going to be late

Kanako for some reason didn't like hearing that, just hearing it made her sigh but she decided not to say anything back.

Kanako quickly realized the time and decided to just brush her teeth and do her hair, she knew that she would have to skip her morning shower this time if she didn't want to arrive to school any later than now.

Kanako quickly got dressed in something she deemed perfect, She quickly put her shoes on and then sling her backpack around her arm and then proceeded to make her way towards the main entrance of the Mori Family house.

Kaede quickly noticed her daughter making her way to the main entrance, which caused her to speak up.

"Kanako I made you breakfast, you should at least eat something before you head out to school, you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day"

Kaede said as she watched her daughter still make her way to the door.

"I'm sorry mom but I'm already running late, I'll eat it when I come back"

Kanako said as she opened the door and proceeded to walk out.

"Well okay, Have a good day sweetie and make sure to look after your brother"

Kaede said as she started to make her way back to the table to put away Kanako's breakfast.

"Yeah yeah I will, Good bye"

Kanako said as she closed the door and proceeded to lock it with her keys.

From there she started to make her way towards her school in hopes that she'll get there before she's too late.

She made her way through the busy streets of her city, taking a couple of turns here and there and crossing the streets if necessary to get to her destination, Kanako couldn't help but take a look around and notice how so many people were rushing to get to their destinations, which made her realize that she should probably hurry up a little.

As Kanako was walking down the street she was soon shoved aside as a group of three kids ran past her, she quickly recovered and then just glared at them.
