3rd POV

Sasori and the rest of the members of the Akatsuki watched as Ino stepped into the arena and approached the center, while Her opponent Ayumu also made her way to the center of the arena. The two of them soon came to a stop when they were close enough to each other and then just stared at the person in front of them.

They both silently waited for the announcer to say start but it seems as if the guy wanted to take his time and basically announce everything else before he looked at the two females in front of him.

The man told them the basics and then stepped away and told them to show respect to one another. Ino and Ayumu bowed their heads and then stood back up and each got into their own stance.

The both of them waited for the other one to make the first move but it seems like none of them was doing anything so it was just silent for some time, seeing as how Ayumu wasn't going to do anything but wait, Ino decided to make the first move.

Ino quickly closed the gap between the two of them and then aimed a fist at Ayumu's face, Ayumu managed to block it with her hand but before she could do anything else, Ino quickly spun her body around and then hit the side of Ayumu's face with the back of her hand.

Ayumu stumbled back a little bit quickly managed to compose herself, Ino once again tried to attack but this time she instead aimed to hit her stomach, Ayumu quickly countered the hit and then managed to throw a punch at Ino luckily for the blonde she managed to dodge it.

Ino kept trying to be more on the offensive while Ayumu was mainly playing defensive, Until Ayumu saw a slight opening in Ino's attack, Ayumu knew that this could be her only way to try and win against her or at least even out the match for her so she quickly capitalized on the opening.

Ino was about to punch Ayumu again until the girl managed to grab the forearm of Ino which caused her to stop her punch, before Ino could react Ayumu quickly kicked the side of Ino's head which caused her to be heavily dazed, Ayumu then proceeded to kick her in the chest and let go of Ino's forearm.

Ino's body quickly hit the floor which caused Ayumu to take a step back and wait for her to be tapped out by the referee.
Sasori watched as Ino hit the ground and if he was being honest with himself he was actually furious with what he saw but he quickly calmed down, He knew that Ino was a capable fighter and knew that she would be fine, he hated to admit it but Ayumu played that perfectly and perfectly capitalized on an opening which made him realize that Ayumu has gotten better over the years, but that's not going to matter in the end cause he knew Ino would win.

Ino quickly got up before the referee could get to the count of four, she held the side of her head and then her eyes landed on Ayumu, Ino had to say that she wasn't really expecting that but it was impressive.
Ino finally managed to compose herself but before she approached Ayumu she had to do something, Ino rubbed her tongue all around the inside of her mouth and then spat out blood, from there she proceeded to turn her neck left and right which caused a loud crack to be heard, Ino then looked back at Ayumu with her hands raised, she was now ready.

Ino wasted no time and quickly made her way to Ayumu, Ayumu tried to go for a quick jab but Ino countered it with a quick lean and then gave her a quick jab to the face, Ayumu stumbled back a little but Ino didn't stop there, Ino quickly punched Ayumu in the stomach and then proceeded to give her two quick punches to her chest, Ayumu quickly tried to guard her body but it seemed like Ino's hits were still hurting her.

Ino kicked gave a small kick to Ayumu's left leg which caused her to fall out of her stance, Ino kicked the side of her body which caused her to fall slightly towards her right, Ino quickly punched the right side of Ayumu's body and caused her to fall back into the floor.
