When my parents passed back in 09 in that tragic accident they passed the company to me and I've expanded it more than I think they ever thought I could. I know my mom had her doubts about me and stuff but my dad trusted me. And for that I'm glad!
Because now I'm thirty two and is the most successful woman right now in the states so! What that tell you about me?
I walked into my company and everyone was trembled at the sight of me "what?" I asked my assistant who was clearly trying to tell me something "your sister is here" my heart warmed at the sound of that but I didn't let it show
I walked in my office with a mug and when I closed the door my face lit up at the sight of my sister "what's up jit!" She said coming to hug me "last time I check your the youngest?" I said hugging her then sitting at my desk she was smiling really hard
"Why you smiling like that?" She just kept smiling "emani.." ( e- ma- nee) she rolled me her eyes "fine... I did something." I squinted my eyes "emani honor barrino... what. did. you. do?" She tensed up
"I-.. well- look don't be mad.." I sat up and scooted my chair closer to my desk as I ran my hand through my hair in frustration "what did you do? I'm not mad" I looked at her clearly mad my face is always going to project what I'm feeling
"Okay... I set you on a date." I rolled my eyes and leaned back in my chair "I don't believe in love emani." She rolled her eyes "yeah yeah I know whatever. Love is real you just meet the wrong people"
"Says who?" I say raising my eyebrows "im not going" i added "please don't leave her standing... listen just go for couple hours! It's seriously not that bad" I shook my head but of course she wasn't giving up
"If you don't im going to text jadore.." I looked at her piercing my eyes to read her. She was serious "fine." I said in defeat, she giggle and came around to give me a hug
"You'll be fine. Her name is-" my finance manager came in "your card is being charged for a million dollars" I sat up immediately "repeat what the fuck you just said" she stood there stupidly "it wasn't a joke! REPEAT IT" she flinched at my voice
"Someone is charging your card for a m-million dollars" I stood "and how the FUCK you let that happen?" She shrugged her shoulders "lock my card , filed for scam and your fired fuck out my office" she was trembling as she closed the door
I logged on my computer "whose trying to take that much money?" Emani asked "only one person" I called them
"Why the hell are you spending a million dollars for?"
"Did you forget? I can get whatever I wanted."
"Not going repeat myself, stop or else"
"Your threats mean shit to me... if you really mad about it , come do something bout it. I'm ready chr-"
She hung up in my face.. SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE! And had someone else in my house? I jumped up and grabbed my coat as I walked out to my car . I drove to her house that I bought
I opened the door with my key and threw my coat , and keys in her foyer before running upstairs, I tried to open the door but it was locked
"Open the fucking door."
"W-wait just a second"
"Who the fuck in there?"
"No one psycho! Just wait"
"Lies I heard the bitch. Whoever in there you better hope them bushes catches your ass before I do! You got two seconds"
"Whatever fantasia. You don't scare me, I know you'll never hurt me you love me"
"Like hell I do! I'm just here for my card and to leave"
"If that was the case , you would have been knocked this door down and snatched this card and left but yet your arguing with me through a door... this is sad I was expecting more from Ms.Barrino. Your no fun, I wanted some action."
"Taraji im not going to tell you again.. open. This. Fucking. Door."
I finally heard the door locked and she stood there all dressed and nice "here now leave my house I have places to be" she said handing me my card
"No. Where you going?" She laughed "why? Your not mines , im not yours" I placed my hand around her neck "Taraji... please why you be playing with your life. Your mines and mines forever now once again why the fuck are you dressed?" She smiled slightly and rolled her eyes
"Your delusional but Friends. Going out. Tonight" I let her go and kissed her forehead "which friends?" - "same ones I've always had why you acting dumb?"
"Oh you mean the dumb bitches who lied to you? Mhmm" I said walking down the stairs "stop acting like your innocent fantasia your just delusional" I turned around
"Okay. And how would you know? Are you a doctor?" She smiled and stepped towards me "nope but I fixed you, didn't I?" She said putting her finger on my lips before walking to the door
"Lock up behind your little temper tantrum" she said making me even more mad she knows me so well! I picked up her glass table and threw it against the wall , watching it shatter reminded me exactly why I don't believe in love.
I left peacefully after that and went on with my day.
