Prologue

Daisy sat on the couch with her older sister, Florence, and older brother, Toby, all three siblings just chilling in Florence's apartment, a normal Saturday.

The afternoon was quiet, a few drinks and just scrolling through TikTok and Instagram, as Daisy always did.

Toby shot up from his seat next to Florence, "Jeez, you scared the shit out of me. What's wrong?"

Toby didn't bother to lift his head from his phone, "Do you know about Game of Thrones. Why am I even asking you that, I starred in it."

"Yeah, Dai and I binged it. What about it?"

"They're making a prequel...and they're now casting" this caught Daisy's attention and a small smile appeared in her face.

Daisy hadn't gotten a lot of roles these past few years, apart her season in stranger things, as Steve Harrington's sister.

Daisy was always a Game of thrones fan, because it interested her and maybe because her brother and best friend starred in it.

"Dai you should totally send an audition tape in" Florence said snapping Daisy out of a fangirl trance, "You think so?"

"Think? I know so and if you get the role, you'll get out of your fussy apartment."

"Well I'm in your apartment now, so technically yours is fussy."

"Oh shut up" Florence playfully shoved Daisy, who fell into Toby, who in turn shoved Daisy and eventually everything ended up as a pillow fight.

To which Florence won of course.

Well so is House of the Dragon. Maybe you're just jealous I'll get to spend some time away from you.

I'm heartbroken, you broke my heart. I'm cancelling movie night because of you.

Stop being a baby, you know I don't mean it.

Fine, but hey I get to pick the movie this time.

I swear to God, if we have to watch Lord of the Fucking Rings I'm gonna kill myself and blame you.

Then we won't watch it. Perhaps Cinderella.

Richie, I know I don't like watching myself.

Well that's your punishment. Now pop some popcorn, I'll get there in five.

A month had now passed and Daisy was convinced she hadn't gotten the part, she was sad about it of course but she eventually moved on.

It was two am when Daisy's phone rang, she stirred in her bed hoping the ringing would stop but Daisy was impatient, she grabbed her phone and quickly answered.

"Hello?"

"Hii, this is Lizzie from the casting of House of the Dragon, I'm calling about your audition tape for Aenora."

Daisy removed her phone from her ear and quickly checked the time, "It's two in the morning, couldn't this wait 'till the sun rose?"

"I do apologize for the late hour, Miss Pugh, I watched your tape and I've spoken with my team and it's safe to say you've gotten the part."

"What?"

"We start filming next month, I'll send the details through an email, congratulations Miss Pugh."

The line went silent and Daisy's phone fell out of her hand, she got the part. A huge grin crept to her face but Daisy was in shock, after a month of waiting she actually got the part.
