The howling wind against the window roused Ara from her slumber. It was well past midnight, and the world had succumbed to a peaceful somnolence, except for Ara, who had an affinity for rain and was determined to savor every moment of it.

A sudden clap of thunder made her heart race. The sudden sensation filled her with excitement. Ara glanced beside her at Woo-jin, who was sleeping peacefully. She chuckled, as if an evil idea popped in her mind as she shook him awake. "Hey, wake up, it's raining!" she whispered excitedly, but Woo-jin only grumbled in response.

"Wake up," she whispered-yelled. Yet she received no response. "You're no fun," she huffed in annoyance. Sighing, she got out of bed and approached the window, noticing that the rain had intensified. She glanced at the clock, which read 1:57 am. Looking at Woo-jin again, she picked up her pillow and repeatedly slammed it onto him, "Wake up, wake up, wake up! sleepyhead." Woo-jin, who was being playfully suffocated by the love of his life, jolted awake. He grunted underneath the pillow, his words muffled by the thunder outside and the pillow being slammed into his face. "I'm awake...you idiot..."

Laughing, Ara lifted the pillow, revealing Woo-jin's disheveled state. "You better listen to me now-" Ara let out a shriek when Woo-jin suddenly grabbed her, pulling her into their tangled bedsheet. "Let go, I want to enjoy the rain!" she whined, attempting to push him away. Woo-jin chuckled, "Oh, Ara," he breathed, pinning her to the bed before positioning himself above her. "What's it about the rain that you love so much, hmm?" He gazed into her eyes, admiring her quietly. Everything was perfect for him in that moment - the soft rumbles of thunder outside, the sound of raindrops hitting their window, filling the peaceful silence, the moonlight illuminating her face, and their entanglement in their bedsheet. He loved this. He loved her.

Soon, he grunted in pain when Ara took the nearest pillow and shoved him aside. "Just shut up and come with me outside!" she said, standing up and smoothing out her pajamas. "Where you go, my heart follows, forever and always." Ara gave him a disgusted look. "That was cheesy as fck" She deadpanned, rolling her eyes, and headed towards the door chuckling with Woo-jin following behind her.

The couple walked down the stairs, Ara squealing in excitement while Woo-jin only tried to tell her to to be quite only to get a playful smack on his chest.

As Ara swung open the grand gates of her mansion, the creaking of the hinges seemed to echo through the stillness of the night. Before her lay the majestic expanse of her garden, transformed by the rain into a mystical realm. The darkness of the night cast a spell of enchantment, as if the very shadows themselves had come to life.

"Woah.." Ara breathed in awe.
Woo-jin moved beside her, hands in his pajamas pockets, "wow, it is beautiful." He admitted.

The raindrops danced across the lush greenery, creating a mesmerizing melody that harmonized with the whispers of the wind. The leaves of the trees, glistening with raindrops, rustled softly, releasing a sweet, earthy scent into the air.

As Ara stepped into this hauntingly beautiful scene, the raindrops kissed her skin, leaving behind a trail of glistening diamonds. The wind caressed her hair, its gentle fingers weaving a delicate dance. She turned around to look at Woo-jin who was completely awestruck at her sight.

"What?" She laughed, squinting her eyes to look at him. The rain and wind together making it difficult for her to see, "you look like an idiot standing there" Ara chuckled slightly, twirling around as she looked at the sky, letting the rain drown her completely.

She looked at where Woo-jin was standing to not see him there anymore, "huh?"
Looking around in confusion her face suddenly hit Woo-jin's chest as he grabbed her by the waist. "You're right.." he looked at her. Tracing his fingers along her cheeks. He leaned in kissing her forehead with immense love, "I am an idiot...to fall for such a beauty like you." He smiled down at her. The rain devouring them whole.

They were so lost in each other's embrace, that a sudden jolt of thunder made Ara jump slightly. The smile on Woo-jin's lips widened as Ara gave him a warning look, "Don't you dare laugh." And just as if this sentence was enough, Woo-jin bursted out laughing, crouching down.

"Ya!" Ara hit his shoulder. "It's not funny, you're exaggerating." She pouted, hitting him more.
Woo-jin stood up from his couching position, giggling as he neared her, engulfing her in a big hug. "Ara, I love you so much. What will I ever do without you." He grunted, lifting his head up at the sky and closing his eyes.

Ara looked at him as she smiled, she took his hand and positioned it on her waist while she grabbed his other hand, intertwining their fingers. And placed her hand on his shoulder. Woo-jin looked down in confusion, before realising what she's doing.

"What are you looking at." She laughed admits the rain. Woo-jin couldn't take his eyes off her, even though it's been more then 7 months of them being together, but his heart still beats fastly whenever he sees her.

Right now, she looked absolutely ethereal. Divine. He wanted time to stop. He wanted them to be like this forever. In his awestruck state, he lifted his hand, the one which was intertwined with hers, and twirled her around. They danced for what felt like eternity, yet it had only been half an hour.

The rain had completely drenched them, their clothes sticking to their body. Their hair covering their faces.
With one final twirl, Woo-jin pulled her towards him, hands in hands, as he leaned in to kiss her finally. As soon as their lips collided, he melted into her embrace. Humming in satisfaction, he broke apart, their lips parting ways.
He gently pressed his forehead on hers, his loving gaze piercing her soul. A thunder cackled into the night sky, followed by a lighting.

The sky suddenly turned a bright blue, but only for a moment. Then, the dark grey clouds covered it again. The rain slowed down, becoming a gentle patter that gave the couple a chance to enjoy their loving moment.

"Should we head back inside, I'm feeling cold now." Ara spoke.

"Sure let's go inside," Woo-jin caressed her cheeks, softly brushing her hair out of her face.

Once inside, Ara took a new pair of pajamas and headed inside the bathroom. Once she showered and changed into her comfy pajama she came out with a towel around her neck. "Ok, it's your turn now," she said, before plopping herself onto the bed.

"Someone's all sleepy now" Woo-jin laughed as he went inside the bathroom.

With that soon the couple were cuddling again, Ara sleeping soundly as Woo-jin made sure she was properly tucked in as he kissed her head one last time. "I love you so much Ara."
