Percy's POV
When we walked into the great hall Hermione Pansy and Draco left going to their house tables. "We have two new students who will be in 8th this year." The lady from before stated. The sorting began. Whatever the heck that was. So apparently you sat on a stool and a talking hat told you which house to go too. So they called a bunch of kids into different houses. Finally, she called, "Annabeth Chase."
Annabeth's POV
When I heard my name called I gave Percy's hand a quick squeeze and headed up to the stool. I sat down and "McGonagall" as I heard one of the other students say her name was- placed the hat on my head. I heard in my head
"A very strong mind but also very brave. You remind of another witch I had, Hermione Granger. I know her she's my friend and sister I responded in my mind. "That's not that Surprising. Wait your name is Annabeth Chase? OH I KNOW OF YOU. Let me just look into your memories to see which house to place you in." I saw the memory of my time in Tartarus with Percy. I heard the hat scream in horror and yell GRYFINDOR NOW GET ME OFF!!!
I heard the Gryfindor table clap and cheer as Hermione waved me over.
Percy's POV
I heard the hat scream and say that Annabeth was gryffindor.
"Persues Jackson" the lady said. I groaned internally "It's Percy" I called out. The lady, McGonagall, put the hat on my head when I sat on the stool. GRYFINDOOR I heard the hat shout immediately. I shrugged and headed over to sit next to Annabeth. I saw someone across the table who said, "Hi I'm Harry Potter and this is Ron Weasley" he said pointing to a redhead with lots of freckles sitting next to him I muttered a hello and grabbed Annie's hand. Jsyk Annie is Annabeth's nickname.
Once the hat finished, I heard a man speaking. "Welcome back to another year at Hogwarts" he boomed. "We have two changes in staff this year. Professor Lupin is back as your DADA teacher and Professor Dare as divination teacher.
A/N You like my cliffhanger? Sorry I had to. I dont care if Lupin died in the book. This is my remake.
