Calista Lane Smith-Leclerc is a rising singer not only thanks to her songs but because of her internet persona which her fans loved because of how real and 'quirky' she was. So far, she has only released a mini album named 'introspection' containing five songs with different genres and themes.

Behind her singer persona, she was a huge Formula 1 fan as she grew up in Monaco with her engineer dad, Emilio Leclerc, that worked for Ferrari. Her mother, Cecilia Lane Smith on the other hand had been back in Chelmsford as a professor in a state university after their divorce. The separation wasn't dirty, they didn't end up in bad terms either despite the constant arguing behind closed doors. They made sure that as responsible parents, Calista wouldn't see nor hear them argue. In the end, when their daughter turned 15 lthey figured it would be better off separated instead of having to deal with hiding their breaking relationship from their daughter.

At first, Calista already felt it and was in denial. She wasn't as blind as they thought she'd be but soon enough she realized how much they were struggling to keep it together. She couldn't blame them, they were both workaholics and very passionate with their jobs but a small part of her used to wish that they wouldn't go on with it. Thankfully, her mother didn't leave Monaco until she was 18 giving them a chance to warm up with the co-parenting style.

At the moment, both of her parents are in good terms. She would then travel to Chelmsford during her semester breaks or vacations and she'd stay in Monaco considering it's where she studies and and also resides in her own apartment. Sometimes, she'd be away during the weekend to attend the Grand Prix supporting her God Fathers and cousins while also enjoying the race and view itself.

Whilst watching the race in the Ferrari garage once, courtesy of her cousin Charles Leclerc, she had seen a specific british reserve driver. Tall, brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a really cute smile that caught Calista's attention was enough for her to write a song, the start of her music career to be exact.
