Chapter 6

Vic's P.O.V

Two weeks passed and It is now the 4th of July. As it turned out, Kory, Natalie & Abe ended up staying for the rest of the 2015 tour. We all decided to go to the lake a few blocks away from where our next concert would be at. This seems like the best moment to ask out Kory! Under the fireworks! I like that idea(: I paid someone to write "will you be mine, Kory?" In the sky in fireworks or in clouds, the people are surprising ME with that part. I know it seems cheesy to do that but I feel like I should do it anyways(: I just have the idea she will say yes. These last two weeks have been great with her and I can't wait for her to be my girlfriend. The moments in the ice cream parlors or at the Santa Monica Pier.

"I can carry the chairs towards the sand, you can go carry the bucket of drinks then," Natalie informs Kory.
As i saw Kory hold it, her hands got wet from the ice inside and her hands slipped. I ran for it until I already saw Abe caught it. Thanks Abe. Mike and Jaime are goofing off as they carry out the BBQ making lake and Mexican jokes. Mike's girlfriend, Alysha, started to just set up the chips and salsa and tablecloths. Tony immediately took chairs away from Natalie, making it so much easier for her. They smile at each other and kiss for a while before they continue to walk towards where the table is. Pretty funny how he was able to make a cartoon singing turtles saying "will you go out with me?" I thought that was cheesy and adorable at once! But she said yes!

My thoughts were interrupted by Kory, grabbing some meat from my hands, helping out even though it was weightless. She smiles as she walks away towards the BBQ and talks to Jaime for a while.
"So how is the plan going? Everything u asked for is coming tonight?" Mike questions with concern as he is wearing an apron with smiley faces on them.
"Yea, everything is going to go the way i planned," I say with a sigh of relief.

SPLASH!! I turn to find a chair fallen in the lake. Kory walks over to try and take it out as she started slipping. I ran and caught her the second before she would have fallen. She giggles and says,
"let me try and get the chair so we can all be able to sit down ahaha!" I grab onto her other hand as she reached for the chair with the other.

"You are officially the chair hero. Anyone feel free to get your repairs at 1-800-Kory-chairhero," Jaime exclaims as he mimicks the voices of the guy in the commercials.
We all burst out laughing and next thing I know, my hair is soaked as I find myself swimming in the lake. I hold out my hand to get Kory to "help me out" as I pull her in.
Two minutes in the water and she hasn't gotten out for air. I start yelling her name trying to pull her up from the water.
"HAHAHAHAHA! It was a little prank. I'm sorry babe I ju- ....OMG I'm sorry I called you that..." Her cheeks start to flush as she smiles and turns away.
I pull her back towards me and we walk out of the water together and went inside to change.

After hours of chilling with loud music like Paramore and some Bring Me The Horizon, while Mike behind the BBQ with his girlfriend sitting next to him making some tacos, It's finally 9:00 and the fireworks should be coming any moment! I lean close to Kory, my hand around her. I turn to find Natalie and Tony laying down next to each other, Jaime and Abe talking about some type of chicken they like and Mike with Alysha making out.

This is the moment!!! I get the message from the pilot that it will come in 3 minutes. My stage manager set up some cameras for the moment as some fireworks sparked.

"Will you be mine, Kory?" Forms up in clouds form, but the Kory pops up in Sparks!!!
I find Kory in tears and she hugs me softly, and then we kiss as the fireworks spark behind us. The moment being treasured for more than just the sparks but the meaning behind them<3
