I walked home after a long day at the guild. I was helping Levy with some research for her next job with Gajeel. Later, I had to tend to the bar for Mira. It didn't sound like much in the beginning, but the bar was harder than it looked.

I sighed. I had to do some more grocery shopping as well. Natsu and Happy ate all my food. Well, I thought, I can at least change first. I walked up the steps of my apartment building and unlocked the door.

"Luce! I'm so glad you're back, we're out of food," I almost jumped at the sound of Natsu. I gave him a glare and put my bag up.

"I'm out of food because of you two! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna change and go to the store." I walked passed the two and into my room, closing the door behind me. I quickly changed into a tank top and shorts, then I left the room. I grabbed my keys and wallet.

"Lucy, take us with you!" Natsu grabbed the back of my shirt.

"Like hell I am," I scoffed. "Go home!" Natsu frowned.

"I am home." I turned and gave him a questioning look. "Levy and Mira said home was where I was happiest, so I am home," he blinked innocently. I flushed, does he even understand what he's saying?! I hurriedly left the building.

"Come on Luce, just take us with you!" Natsu cried, chasing after me.

"Aye!" Happy cheered and sat on my head. I sighed, I wasn't going to be able to do anything with these two.

"Fine. But I'm not getting a lot of food. I don't have much, considering you refuse to go on a job," I grumbled the last part.

"We're on a brake. No jobs till the end of this week. And if you need money just say so, I can give you some. Consider it as payment for everything you've done for me," Natsu gave his signature grin and continued to walk to the store. Happy flew past him, shouting about a race. I smiled.

By the time we got there, the boys were out of breath. I giggled and walked inside, already knowing what to get.
Happy stayed with me, for the most part occasionally leaving to go find Natsu. He helped me choose the best brands for both Natsu and me. After awhile, Natsu came. With a cart. Filled. With junk food.
"Natsu," I pinched the bridge of my nose. "We are not getting that much stuff."

"Come on Lucy!" He whined. "Please! I'll play for half." He tried desperately, I still refused.

His whining was starting to cause a scene. People walked past us slowly, making sure to hear every word we said. Some people even walked past three times. A young couple around my age walked past and the lady gave me an apologetic look, as if telling me she went through the same thing.

"Natsu, I already have everything. Let's just go." I showed him the basket I had.

"What about the chips? Candy? Hot sauce? That's all just fruits and veggies. You know I don't like a lot of that!" Natsu frowned.

"Well. I was thinking we could start eating healthier. It'll help when we're on a job." I reasoned. He shook his head. "Natsu please! Let's just get this stuff and go home." I begged.

"Not until you get some real food," he crossed his arms.

"This is 'real' food. A lot better than yours, actually." I countered. There was only one way to get him to budge.

I turned on my heel and began to walk away. Ignoring his protest, I went straight for the checkout counter. I stopped when I felt a tug on my shirt. I turned to see a pouty Natsu holding a few sweets and a bottle of hot sauce.

"Just these. Please?" He gave a puppy face. I sighed.

"Fine. But that's it!" I said firmly. He did a victory dance and sat his stuff on the counter.

"Ah! Young love!" The cashier smiled brightly. I flushed.

"They liiikkee each other!" Happy smiled cheekily.

"I will kill you cat." I growled.
