Jeongguk stopped whatever he was saying as his mind malfunctioned for a second or two, when he felt taehyung's soft and creamy lips on his own. His eyes sprawled like a fungus when he registered what was happening. Taehyung's lips were on his own!!! The actual fuck? He can't be dreaming now, can he?

Taehyung just joined their lips for a few seconds, giving Jeongguk an unusually long peck and detached themselves as he stared into the wide bambi eyes of Jeongguk with his own lightly hooded one. Maybe because of the champagne he had earlier? He chuckled at the sight. "You talk too much." He said and wiped the corner of Jeongguk's lips a little as he got his own ice cream smeared on jeongguk's lips.

"Relax koo. I'm not uncomfortable. I was just surprised. It's totally alright, it's not early . We have being seeing each other for two months. We took 2 months to go on our first date, can you believe it?" Taehyung said chuckling a little making jeongguk believe that it isn't something abnormal. His voice turned slightly lower and held that raspy insinuating in it.

"I believe people can fall in love at first sight and to be honest I personally think that time doesn't define how much a person loves you.  Yes, I know that I didn't fall for you at the first sight but slowly and eventually I started liking you. And after we decided to try each other out, you taught me how it feels to have a comfort person. We didn't meet much in these two months but you told me how a person can make anyone feel better just over a text. How a person can feel loved by just seeing a text. How can a person make anyone smile like a fool for the whole day just by hearing his favourite voice. You became my comfort person in these two months. And I don't know if this ain't love then what is?" Taehyung said holding jeongguk's free hand, caressing it slowly in a soothing and comforting manner, making rounds over his tattooed knuckles. His eyes felt drooping more, each passing second and his voice held a slight thick accent in it.

After seeing Jeongguk visibly calming down he flashed his beautiful smile making jeongguk's heart race again in his chest. He held his knuckles tighter as he looked directly into jeongguk's eyes.
"And I want to tell you that I... I also love you. I love you koo. So don't spew nonsense about accidents and all.." And took the Lilac bouquet from jeongguk's hand when he saw him hitching a little at his confession.

They took their moments and smiled beautifully at that. Jeongguk engulfed Taehyung in his embrace, being overwhelmed with the sudden emotions. They hugged tightly as they savoured the sweet, warm and cozy moment between them. Jeongguk kept thanking Taehyung for accepting his feelings as they sat in a comfortable hug.

Confessing our feelings to the one we love is really a great task. Even after we know their answer was going to be a yes, still our mind can't help but tend to overreact in nervousness. And that was exactly what both of them were experiencing. Well, it's not the problem until you decide to be honest with your heart.
