i came home from work but as i walk through the door Taylor is no where to be found. she's not in the kitchen nor living room. "babe, i'm home. are you ok" i started to panic so i ran up the stairs as fast as i could and found her in the bedroom. "there you are. baby, what's wrong" i ask when i saw that she was in a pair of my baggy sweatpants and a baggy hoodie of mine with her knees tucked to her chest while her arms rested on top of her knees as she hid her face. i crawled into the bed beside her i let her lean into me while her soft sobs broke my heart. "baby, what is wrong. what happened" i asked trying to soothe her.
she looked at me with red eyes almost as if she had been crying for hours. "it-it's my st-stupid period" she said in between sobs "baby, i'm sorry" she looked at me with pleading eyes "you know i'm always here to help" she hugged me tight. "i'll be right back with a heating pad and some of your favorite snack and wine can't forget the wine" she smiled at me as i got up.
when i came back i found her reading a book that was one of my favorites. i had many books on my nightstand since i'm more of a book person myself but i always put this book on top of the stack of others. 'the raven' by Edgar Allen poe. he has always been one of my favorite writers. i set her wine on her nightstand along with the snacks. "y-you like this" she asked almost like was proposing to me. "of course, he's one of my favorites" i said with a smile and a kiss on her forehead. i heard the microwave beep "oh your heating pad is ready" i told her before leaving a kiss on her forehead and running back downstairs to grab it.
once i returned back to her with the heating pad i saw she was looking sleepy. i placed the heating pad on her stomach and cuddled into her. "can we take a nap" she asked before yawning. "of course baby" i said before making her boob my pillow. we went to sleep and soon after we were asleep her cats joined us.
