"So basically, this is your reward girls", their manager informed the girls as they boarded the minibus, "you have a day tour of Bohol's famous landmarks then late afternoon until evening is your free time. So, Enjoy!" Their manager added.
The girls paired up and sat together. Colet just went ahead and sat beside the window. She looked at the other girls who were changing seats and getting on play arguments about who wanted to sit beside who. She let out a small smile and shook her head, "Bahala kayo diyan." She murmured as she pulled out her air pods and phone. She started scrolling for her playlist when she felt someone sat beside her.
"Ano papakinggan mo?" A familiar voice asked as another air pod connected to Colet's phone.
"Wala" Colet dismissed as she moves her phone away from the intruder.
"Grabe naman to," the intruder replied, "parang wala tayong pinag samahan niyan Nicollete" the voice added with a tone of dismay.
Colet rolled her eyes as she gave a deadly side eye to the intruder of her peace. She can see her giving a naughty smile.
"Wag mo nga akong guiltripin, Mary Loi Yves" Colete replied as she raised her eyebrow to the girl beside her.
"Wow, tawagan ng full names ah" Mikha jested as she sat across Maloi.
"Tigil tigilan mo nga ako Mikhaela Janna, mainit pa dugo ko sa iyo" Maloi replied as she raised her fist towards the girl.
"Hoy, wag mong awaying si Mikha" Aiah mockingly hugged Mikha as the other girls laughed.
Colet just smiled and put on her airpods, it's been a while since she was back to her hometown. She pressed the play button and closed her eyes as she savored the feeling of the warm gentle sun basking in her presence.
"Na miss mo no?" Maloi asked her as she the other girl starts to put on her own airpods as well.
"Ang alin?" Colet replied without looking at Maloi, she perfectly knows what the other girl meant, she just wants to enjoy this moment.
"Eto, yung probinsya mo." Maloi replied with a smile as she looked at the scenery as well, "Etong Magandang probinsya mo." Maloi added with a smile.
Colet let out a small smile as she looks at the girl beside her. Maloi looked at her as well as Colet nodded her head.
"Sobra." Colet replied with a warm smile on her face.
"Ano yung pina ka na miss mo?" Maloi asked again as they watched the scenery change.
Colet paused as she tries to think of a good answer to Maloi's question. She looked down at her hands and let out a nostalgic smile.
"Siguro, yung pakikitungo ng tao dito sa akin." Colete replied, "Dito kasi, ako pa din si Maria. Yung batang gusgusin na madalas madapa." Colet added.
Maloi smiled as she jokingly whispered under her breathe, "Wow, sikat."
Colet looked at her with a warning glare that turned into a smile. Colet knows Maloi felt like this too.
"Tsaka syempre, yung luto ni Mama,yung Halang-halang ni Mama" Colet mentioned as she tries her best not to tear up, "at ang pagkain ng Calamay pagkatapos nun." Colet added as she let out a sweet smile.
"Alam mo," Maloi paused as Colet looked at her anticipating her sentence, "Maganda ka pag nakangiti." Maloi added as she gently caressed Colet's face.
"Wag mo nga akong pag lolokohin pisting ya—"
"No really," Maloi replied with a gentle smile as she fixed some of the loose hair from Colet's, "Mas maganda ka pag nakangiti."
Colet just glared at her, but she unconsciously smiled in which the other girl saw.
