"Babe, I need your help" Colet exclaimed as she sat down at the sofa and grabbed the can of soda in front of her, "I need your help big time!" Colet added she widen her eyes to emphasize the seriousness of the situation she's in.
The girl in front of her casually sat down and grabbed the can of Soda from Colet's hand just before she can take a sip.
"Ano nanaman to Nicollete?" The girl asked as she lowers her eye glasses just enough to see the Colet's face without her spectacles.
"Hear me out, my Baby Loi," Colet replied as she starts to bite her nails, "Sobrang seryoso to!"
"Fine, tell me" Maloi surrendered as she rolls her eyes before folding her arms in front of her and twitched her lips as if trying to decide whether to agree or not.
"Naalala mo si Jhoanna?" Colet asked anyway as she starts her story.
"The UPD-Conservatory girl?" Maloi replied as she raised one of her eyebrows.
Colet nodded her head fervently before answering, "Yeah, that smart girl—"
"What about her?" Maloi snapped cutting Colet's explanation
"Wait, hear me out, let me finish." Colet replied as she raised both of her hands in a stop motion.
Maloi just raised both of her eyebrows now, clearly judging the girl in front of her in disbelief.
"And you remember the Enderun girl, Stacy?" Colet continued as she waits for Maloi's reply.
Maloi thought for a moment before answering, "The girl with a good sense of fashion?" Maloi replied hesitantly, "Right?" as she twist her head sideways trying to remember the girl Colet was describing.
Colet nodded her head with gusto again.
"That one!" She exclaimed."And what about fashionista and smarty brains?" Maloi asked in a curious but irritated tone as she squints her eyes towards Colet.
"Eto na nga." Colet replied with excitement and nervousness, "They both asked to meet up—"
"And? You're good at juggling girls," Maloi snapped again, "Actually, you're so good I can't juggle my co curriculars and Acads as good as you juggle them." Maloi exclaimed as she stood up to control her anger and disappointment in her voice, but she knew Colet wouldn't even notice them.
"Come on babe," Colet protested, "Wag ka munang magalit, just hear me out." Colet begged the other girl who paused for a moment and just nodded in agreement as Maloi sat down again.
"Okay, 'babe'" Maloi replied emphasizing the babe part, "Papakinggan ko yang magandang idea mo, pero ngayon lang." Maloi added while squinting her eyes as a warning to the other girl.
"Can you meet one of them for me?" Colet asked the other girl while clasping her hands as if she's praying, "Please!"
Maloi just looked at the other girl with a pensive face and stood up thinking if she should throw the empty soda can in her head.
"Ang sabi ko," Maloi paused as she opened the trashcan, common sense took over her, and threw the can, "Papakinggan ko, pero hindi ko sinabing papayag ako." Maloi added as she smirked to herself.
"Come on babe, sige na please!" Colet begged her again as she kneeled in front of her, "Just talk to one of them and then that's it." Colet suggested.
"Ehwag mo nalang siputin yung isa sa kanila?" Maloi replied as she raised one of her eyebrows, "Mas madali yun diba?"
