It was the middle of summer, I was out of school for the next couple months so naturally me and my friends have some stuff planned. As I started walking to my friend Ryan's house, I got an idea that we can go camping since we love the outdoors. After only a couple minutes which felt like an eternity with this heat I arrived at Ryan's house. I knocked on the door, after a few seconds Ryan answered the door and welcomed me in. "You know you can just walk in" Ryan laughed, I shook my head shyly and told him, "You know I don't like to".
Ryan just shook his head and laughed and we walked to the game room, when I entered I saw my other friend Noah already playing a game. He turned his head and said hi, and then went back to his game. I set down my backpack and sat in one of the gaming chairs and watched Ryan and Noah play their game. After a few minutes they stopped and asked if I wanted a turn, "Why not" I shrugged and grabbed a controller.
After a bit of silence besides the video game, I told my friends my idea of going camping this summer. Noah suddenly jumped up, "Hell yeah, let's do it, I found this great camping spot far into the woods when I was with my girlfriend", Noah also agreed, "I'm down, gives me a chance to go exploring again". We got excited about this trip, Noah then asked, "When should we go on this trip?", Alex then responded, "How about tomorrow". We nodded excitedly, after hanging for a bit longer, me and Noah headed home to get packed for our camping trip. On the way, we started talking about how fun this camping trip is going to be. But little did we know, this trip would change everything.
