Me and Noah grabbed some branches and rocks, once gathering enough of each item we brought them to the middle of the clearing. We put the rocks around in a circle and piled the sticks in the middle, once we finished that we grabbed a lighter and a piece of paper and threw it into the makeshift firepit. After a few minutes the fire grew into a nice warm blaze, it felt nice since the sun started to sink. After a minute of silence, Noah spoke up, "Have you got a weird feeling since being here?". I looked a little shocked when he asked because I never told them the feeling I got when walking back from the lake. I pulled myself together and told him, "It's probably just our imagination, it's been a while since we've been camping," I tried to convince him and me as well since I felt there was something off with this forest.

He shrugged and said, "I guess so", he didn't seem convinced, soon after our conversation we heard some branches breaking in the distance. We both shot up and looked around, trying to see if we could spot anything in the distance, after scanning around I could have sworn I saw a shadow dart behind a tree. But I played it off as it was nothing, considering it was starting to get darker and I could have just seen a deer, Noah also looked on edge but I told him it was probably a wild animal. He seemed to calm down a bit, we sat back down for a couple minutes until we heard branches breaking again, except it was a lot closer. I grabbed my flashlight and turned towards where the noise was coming from and all of a sudden I hear someone yelling, "Can you stop blinding me with that?", it was Alex who just got back from the store trip. I immediately turned my flashlight off and apologized, Alex shrugged it off. "It's fine but why do you guys seem so spooked?", he asked me and Noah, we told Alex we got scared by a deer and it was nothing.

He looked at us and lightly chuckled at us, "Okay if you say so, anyway I got us some hot dogs, burgers and some Smore's stuff", he said while pulling it out from grocery bags. We all cheered and put the hot dogs on some skewers and roasted them on the fire. Once they were cooked we put the hot dogs on buns and chowed down. We all moaned at the taste of the hot dogs, "Nothing beats campfire hot dogs," Noah had told us, "I'll agree to that," Alex piped in. I nodded in agreement, and finished my hot dog, after we finished dinner, we practically fought for the Smore's supplies. I managed to grab the marshmallows, Noah got the chocolate and Alex got the graham crackers. I opened the marshmallows and threw one at Alex and Noah, they each caught the marshmallow. Noah threw us each some chocolate and Alex threw us some graham crackers.

After catching each of our smore's items we put our marshmallows on some sticks and began roasting them. I took mine out of the fire after a couple seconds, I prefer my marshmallows a golden brown, while Alex and Noah liked theirs completely burnt. After roasting my marshmallow I put it in the graham crackers and chocolate and took a big bite. It was a warm gooey mess, but it was delicious, I looked over to Noah who had got himself covered in his marshmallow as it fell out of the graham cracker and onto his shirt. Me and Alex laughed as Noah went to change his shirt. After changing and finishing our smore's, Alex told us he had an idea before we went to bed. We looked at him curiously, he then started to say, "Let's tell some scary stories", we both smiled and agreed to it.

Noah wanted to go first and told a story about Bloody Mary, which was okay but we've all heard it before, Alex yawned obnoxiously and told Noah, "Bloody Mary? What are we five? I have a scary story that will scare the both of you," we chuckled not believing him. Alex got quiet and then got a little further away from the fire so we can just barley see his face. "Have you guys ever heard the story about the three campers who went missing?", we shook our heads, and honestly I was already a little scared and from what I could see, so was Noah. Alex continued, "Well there were three friends who wanted to escape the city life and wanted to see nature and all it held, so they looked up some good camping spots," he said in an calm tone. "The spot they had chosen was this exact spot,", he said while gesturing to our clearing we were staying at.
