"do i have a cousin?"

It's summer break at the Lupin-Black cottage. Sirius and Remus sit at the kitchen table talking to each other when their son Luke comes into the kitchen.

"Morning." Luke says rubbing away the sleepiness in his eyes. "Morning bud." Sirius says smiling.
"What are you two talking about?" Luke asked looking between the two of them.

"Nothing bud don't worry." Remus says trying to brush it off like it was nothing. Luke frowns at his dads knowing that something is up. "Your lying i can tell. what's going on?" He says crossing his arms.

Remus and Sirius look at each other having a silent conversation with each other to see if they should tell their son the truth or not. They got a letter from Dumbledore that morning when they woke up that said that there is going to be three new students coming to Hogwarts september first. But what they were shocked about was when they read the names of the students that was transitioning to Hogwarts.

"Look buddy i think you should sit down for this." Remus says gently his eyes soft like always....or anytime Luke isn't causing trubbel. "Your scaring me dad." Luke says frowning as he sits down on a chair at the kitchen table.

Remus and Sirius look at each other before Sirius starts to speak. "We got a letter from Dumbledore this morning. And it says that three new students would be transitioning to Hogwarts." Sirius starts gently still very confused by the news.

"Okay? Um why is that a big deal?" Luke asked looking between his two father's. "Well the name of one of does kids is Aurora Black." Sirius says the name out loud still pretty shocked that there is another person who has the Black name when there was no other in the blood line except for him and Luke who had the Black family name still. His younger brother was gone. His parents are dead. His cousin's don't have the same name anymore. So he was very confused about someone with the family name that he dosen't know about.

"Wait what?" Luke says looking between his two father's. "This has to be a joke right?" He asked frowning. "No it isn't." Remus says gently putting his hand over his son's.

Luke just sits there trying to process the news of someone who has the Black family name. He thought him and his father was the only ones but he guessed wrong.

"So what does this mean? Do i have a cousin? But dad's brother is dead so how?" Luke asked looking between Remus and Sirius. The thing is Sirius didn't know how because his brother is dead and his other cousin's dosen't have the Black family name anymore so he had no idea how.

"Well the only way to find out is to go see the family tree at 12 Grimmauld place." Sirius says looking down. Remus puts his hand over Sirius' squeezing it gently. "We don't have to if you don't want too." He says softly smiling.

Remus knew how hard it was for Sirius to go back to his childhood home because of everything that his parents had put him through. Remus was always gentle with Sirius and Luke because he knew it was hard for both of them sometimes because they were both impulsive so he knew that there was a special way to be a good parent to Luke and be a good husband to Sirius.

"It's the only way to get answers." Sirius says quietly looking at his husband. Remus nods before asking, "do you want me to send an owl to the others? If you maybe want company so it isn't going to be that hard for you."

Sirius thinks for a while, "we can send an owl to Prongs and Lils to see if they want to come with," Sirius answers looking down feeling how this is going to be hard for him to go back to his childhood home. Going back to the home he got abused in. The home he left when he was 15. He knew how hard it would be for him. But he needed to do it to find out why there is another person with the name of Black.

But what they didn't know was who they would meet when they get there........

So um i'm sorry to tell you this but I am taking a break from Wattpad for a bit. I just can't update how much I want to update and it's making me feel bad so I am going to take a break!
