Bliss

Alon takes over the dishes while Alexis catches a glance at his face. The fuck is he so giddy for? Did Liza finally accept his feelings?
"Hey Alon, did something happen? What's with this sudden wave of happiness you got going on?" Alexis crossed her arms as she gazed at him while he washed the dishes. Nothing, pure radio silence.
"Dude at least make a noise, i'm talking to you!" Alexis puts her hand on his shoulder, forcing Alon to face her. His smile reached one ear to the other. Alexis stepped back,

"What the fuck man, answer me. You're scaring me at this point."

Alon sighed, "Alright fineee, I guess I could tell you." Alon leaned back on the sink as he dries off his hands. "That little date Zarron going on-"

"God don't talk to me about him right now Alon! You really think I want-"
Alexis got interrupted as Alon threw the drying cloth at her. "How about you let me finish my sentence before you start jumping on me alright?"

Alexis looked at him, she didn't say anything but god did she wanna.
"Anywho, that little date that's got you all worked up, it's actually about you. YOU are the date!" Alon put both hands on Alexis as he shook her side to side.
Alexis pushes Alon back, "Real funny Alon, you really want to feel like a fool huh—"
Alon interrupts Alexis as he shoves her phone to her face showing the messages that Zarron's been texting her while she was asleep.

"Real funny huh?" Alon smirked.
"Alon you asshole! Why didn't you show me this before, it's been 2 hours since he sent that! He's gonna think i'm ignoring him!" Alexis cried out as she snatches the phone from Alon's grasp.

"Cmon, I highly doubt it. You said he always got someone to keep him busy-" Alon stopped in his tracks, he wasn't meant to tell her that.

"What? When did I ever say such a thing? What do you mean 'busy'?" Alexis looks at his starstruck. Her eyes are still sparkling knowing that she's Zarron's date. It hurts Alon from knowing what he knows about Zarron.

"Pfft, that's my bad Lex, I got confused with Liza's situation going on. Don't worry, Zarron's got nothing going on."
But, Zarron did have something going on.
He always did.
