~Alexis says her farewell to Zarron and hangs up~

       Alexis, in absolute fear, begins to panic as she drops onto the cold bedroom floor with her hands covering her eyes. She was crying, silly isn't it? Alexis could've easily avoided this by rejecting Zarron's thoughtful invite. But deep down Alexis knows she would've deeply regretted letting down his invite.
      Alexis overthinks everything. Knowing Zarron's history with other girls pains her, but she feels bad for all the girls that got their hearts broken by him. She doesn't want to be like them.
   Alexis starts breathing heavily as she tells herself, "Calm down Alexis. These breakdowns happen too often, it's not healthy. I need to get a glass of water."
    Alexis gets up as she walks over to her kitchen & opens the top cabinet. She takes a small transparent cup and starts to pour water into the cup, the water was rather warm so Alexis decides to put a few ice cubes into the cup. While she drinks the cold cup of water she can feel her body cool up as she begins to calm down. She puts the cup down and begins to chew on a piece of ice- the table vibrates.
     "what the-" Alexis begins to examine the table until her eyes lock onto her phone seeing a message from her best friend, Alon.
                                   "Alon: Yo idiot, you wanna hang out like right now?"
"Alexis: Yeah, I'll be at your place in a few."
                                   "Alon: Hell yeah! I'll be awaiting your arrival."
"Alexis: Haha, yeah. See you till then."

      Alexis puts down her phone on the kitchen counter & starts heading towards her room to pick out a fit. She gently opens her closet doors and stares at her selection for a good while, after about 5 minutes she decides to put on her blue Thrasher shirt, grey shorts, and her Air Force 1's.
Alexis looks in the mirror as she puts her hair into a ponytail and grabs her phone & headphones from the kitchen counter. Before leaving she gives her dog, Mika, a small kiss on her forehead and leaves her apartment. On the way to Alon's house, Alexis opens up Spotify and puts on "Lose it" by SWMRS. Alexis is envious as she watches couples being all cutesy to each other, she wants that. She wants that with Zarron.
      "I hate it here."  Alexis scoffs. 
  As Alexis approaches Alon's home she gets a phone call from one of her female best friends. Her name is Liza, Alexis and Liza are very close and like to bully each other on occasion. Alexis picks up the phone and is greeted by Liza's harsh and serious tone.
       "Liza: Hey Alexis, there's something you need to know."
"Alexis: Huh? Okay then.. what is it? Don't take too long explaining cause I'm about to be at Alon's house.
      "Liza: I got intel that Zarron is going to go out with someone this week. Like he set up a nice date with the girl."
"Alexis: Oh. If he's interested in the girl and everything works out with them then I'm happy for him."
     "Liza: Alexis. Are you sure? You love this guy and you're just going to let some other girl take him so easily?"
"Alexis: Liza, if you love someone then that means that you deeply care for them and want them to be happy. Even if you're not with them, If your loved one is happy then you should be happy. People that say they love someone yet get envious and furious whenever they're "loved" one is talking or seeing someone that isn't them causes anger. They will begin to lash onto their "loved" one making them feel stressed, you see that, that isn't love. You want your loved one to be happy not stressed."
   "Liza: You have a point. I'll let you be now, have fun with Alon!"
"Alexis: Bye Liza."

    Alexis is upset about the information that was given but she can't do anything about it. She needs to act happy for Alon, she doesn't want him worrying about her & her boy problems.
