Wake Up Sunshine

Will woke up, his eyes still groggy from sleep. He lay on his side, Nico's arms wrapped around him. Will held Nico's hands, careful not to wake him.

Nico looked so cute when he slept. His hair hanging in his eyes and his face so calm. He let out little puffs of breath from his mouth. Will loved him so much. He loved him and everything he did.

After a while of laying there holding Nico's hands in his, he turned to face Nico. Nico was smiling. Will loved the way he smiled.

"Nico." Will said, "Wake up Sunshine" Will still held Nico's hands. Nico wasn't waking up, so Will climbed on top of him. He sat on his chest. "NICO!" He shouted. This time, he woke Nico up.

Nico's eyes fluttered open. Will's face was inches from his. Will pecked him on the lips.

"Good morning Sunshine," Will chuckled as he climbed off of Nico and walked away. While he walked, his hips swayed a little. Nico loved that. He loved everything about Will. Nico pursued after Will, into the kitchen. Nico sat at the breakfast table and looked at the clock. It read 9:00 am in big green, digital letters. Shit! Nico had to get ready! Jason, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Frank and Hazel would be over to eat breakfast with them at 10:00. He should remind Will to cook breakfast.

"Hey Will-"

"I'm already on it." Will interrupted, "You go shower. You smell like rotten fish had a baby with some dog crap." Nico laughed at that.

"Love you too," He said.

Nico showered and came back downstairs. It was 9:30 and Will already had breakfast ready. He served eggs, bacon and french toast on all the plates. What surprised Nico the most? The kitchen was spotless. Will had cleaned up his mess perfectly.

"Wow Will..." Nico said, "This looks great!"

"Thanks Sunshine. Not looking to bad yourself." Will winked at him.

Nico bit his lip ,"You too." Even when Will's hair was messy and sticking up at odd angles, he still looked perfect. "But you still need to shower. You smell like a dozen of rotten eggs."

Will smiled. His smile was so perfect. He went upstairs and showered. By the time he was done it was almost 10:00. 

Will walked up to Nico. He pressed their bodies close and put his arms around Nico. He pressed his lips to Nico's. Nico felt dazed. He would have collapsed if not for his boyfriend's arms at his waist. Will could tell that Nico was dazed. He liked that. He smirked and pulled away from Nico.

Nico blushed. His cheeks burned with his love for Will.

Three knocks came at the door. Will and Nico answered. It was Hazel, Frank and Leo. Nico hugged his sister and Frank. Frank was now his brother-in-law. How funny... It seemed like just yesterday all the demigods were trying to defeat Gaea... Of course though, that was 8 years ago. 

All the demigods had grown up. Now in their 20's and married. Every once in a while they would all go back to camp and tell stories of their quests to the younger demigods. They helped out at camp and would visit Chiron every now and then. They were always invited to the camp events.

Annabeth, Percy, Jason and Piper showed up last. Making up excuses saying, "There was traffic." Percy and Jason always had to be first in everything.

They all greeted and talked to each other while they ate.  "Do you guys want to go see the camp fireworks with Nico and I tomorrow night?" Will asked with that stupidly beautiful smile on his face.

In unison Percy and Jason screamed, "YES!" Piper and Annabeth punched Percy and Jason. In an attempt to play cool they both sputtered out words like, "Yeah, whatever" or "Sure sounds fun" or "Cool."

Nico was suspicious about how excited Percy and Jason were to go to the fire works with him and Will...

"So, see you guys tomorrow night for the fireworks?" Will asked. They all agreed and left Nico and Will's small house to return to their own.

As soon as they left Nico was about to talk but was cut off by Will kissing him. It was a short kiss on the lips, but Nico felt like it lasted forever. "I love you," Will whispered in his ear. Nico was still flustered by Will, no matter how long they had been going out. Will had this strange effect on him.

"I love you too," Nico said into Will's chest as they hugged each other.

So far the day was perfect.
