Hogwarts Express

I got up early that morning...I wasn't even able to sleep that night. I was just so excited for Hogwarts. I did my morning routine and wore the uniform Hagrid and I bought yesterday. I ran down the stairs and hugged Mom who was cooking breakfast in the kitchen. "Woah, somebody is excited and super energetic", my mom said, hugging me back. "What's for breakfast?", I asked and peeked over my mother's hand hugging me and saw PANCAKES!!...not just the thin pancakes, My mother's special pancakes which are super thick and are only made for me, sometimes for my dad. Dad came in, humming a song, '"What are my two favourite women doing, gossiping to each other?", Dad hugged us both from behind. 

After the mom finished cooking breakfast, we quickly ate. I was helping my parents clean up the dining room and the table. while my mom was washing the dishes, Dad was in the living room going through a book, I came up to him and sat next to him, "Dad.." I caught his attention, "yea go on", he said while still looking at his book. "Dad..will I be able to find friends in Hogwarts?...", I asked him, and he looked at me "Of course you will, why are asking me this?", I hesitated, but finally spoke, "What if no one likes me because I come from a Muggle family?..". Dad softened his eyes, "I am sure, that no one will judge with your bloodline, and everybody will like you there, don't worry", he said while assuring me and hugging me from the side. "now let's go, don't wanna be late right". 

After that Hagrid arrived, and I was ready to say goodbye to my parents. we all went out of the house and saw Hagrid, but he didn't have his motorbike, I wondered how on earth we would reach Hogwarts. " yer ready?", I nodded, but my mother spoke up. "will she be able to visit us sometimes?..", while holding my hand. "Obviously, during holidays..", Hagrid said. and I turned back to face my parents, my mother had tears in her eyes, "well I think this is goodbye then" my mother said crouching down to my level, but ten Hagrid spoke. "Goodbye?.. we haven't even reached the station yet". I was confused. " what?", I asked him turning back around. "ye, the stations in London", Hagrid said.

"Really?", I said while being happy, I would be able to spend some more time with my parents. we followed Hagrid and found out that the train to Hogwarts was in London. We walked into the train station and Hagrid handed me a ticket. the ticket said, 9 3/4 I am sure the station didn't have a 9 3/4 platform. Hagrid led us to the platform, 9 and 10. "here we are", I was confused, again. "What?...", I said again. "You just walk through the wall right there", I was even more confused now. "wait lemme show you..", and then Hagrid walked through the wall right between platforms 9 and 10.

I did the same, even though I was sceptical about it at first but did it anyway. And then Mom and Dad walked through too. I saw Hagrid and walked to him, I looked around the station, it was different from the stations in London, I mean this station in London was different from the other stations. 'That's the train in which ye gonna go to London", Hagrid showed me the train. 

After that, he went as he told me that he had some work to do. I admire the whole station, it is so beautiful and magical. there were a lot of students carrying their luggage, and everything. with everything around me, I completely forgot about my parents, I didn't even notice my mother calling for me. "y/n?/!!..", I looked back, "Oh yea mom?..", I replied. My mother sighed and then she crouched down to my level and put her hands on my shoulders. "well,..are you nervous?"..my mother asked me, "Yeah..a lot", I replied while looking down. 

She held my chin and pushed my face upward so that I looked at her. She smiled with a reassuring eye, "Don't be, your dad told me what had said to me, don't worry about finding friends, you are kind, you are easy to approach don't worry at all, and don't forget to write to us at least once a week. My father too crouched down to my level and squeezed my cheek, not that hard. "I miss you both so much!!", I said to them, with a few tears in my eyes, and I hugged them, they hugged me back.

After a few minutes of sharing the group hug, we heard the sound of the train engine, it was finally time to go. "Well I guess that must be your train then, let's hurry, don't want to miss the only train to Hogwarts" " my dad said, pulling away from the hug and I swore that I saw a few tears in his eyes. he helped me carry my luggage and we three rushed to the entry if the train.

My dad kissed my forehead and my mom gave me last a hug, I then carried the luggage on my own and waved them the final goodbye when the train had to start to move. I kept waving to them till the train left the station. Then I was on my way to find a seat for myself. I walked into a compartment that was partially filled with students. As I walked closer to the seats, I saw a black-haired girl and a blonde boy sitting together, A blonde-haired girl sitting with two twin boys, a black-haired girl sitting all alone but with paint around her.

And there was that same boy with red hair to I met in Daingon Alley, I don't know whenever I see him I just feel these strange feelings in my stomach. I walked up to his seat and stood in front of him. "hey is this seat taken?", I asked, he looked at me, and looked around me. "are you sure you want to sit next to me?.. nobody wants to sit next to me", the boy said. I felt bad for him, I was just gonna request him even more when the girl from Ollivanders called me to sit with her, I looked back at the boy, "what's your name? I am y/n", I said. "I am Daniel Page".

I nodded and went to the girl from Ollivanders was standing.
