Y/n's POV

Another week has passed; a lot has happened—good ones. Though it might've still been mostly about school, I am glad I got to spend some time with out new friends. Unfortunately, my best friend Avery has been too busy to hang with us yet. But in spite of all that, the two of us would still manage to catch up on one another. I'm telling you, I've got the most loyal friend anyone would ever have.

After school or on weekends, I would come over to Ayla's place to watch the band practice—or the other way around, they would come over to my place to watch me practice as well.

One time we hung out at the skatepark again. Finn and the guys were impressed how much I've improved with my skateboarding. Well, I guess I found some good teachers.

Whenever we go around town, we're always accompanied by Quincy and Finn's older brother, Nick. Even though it is clear that they are both adults, we're always so comfortable around the two guys since they act like as if they're teenagers too. I think it's fun. They're so hilarious!

My parents are happy for me as well. [A/n: I imagine her parents are like Lorelai and Luke from Gilmore girls!<3!] They knew how hard it is for a socially-awkward person like me to get some friends to get along so well with.

I guess I'm still living a nice life...

Today's Sunday. I spent the weekend listening to music. And since I've been obsessed with Gilmore girls and the music from the show, I've been dying to get Carole King's Tapestry album. Well, I've already heard the entire album on Spotify, but it's not enough without a vinyl copy!

So, this afternoon I decided to stop by at our local record store again to check out whether there's a copy of Tapestry.

With Sandra's amazing help, she immediately told me that they still got one copy left before the new arrivals.

"It's a good album," she told me.

"Yes," I said.

"Do you want me to get it for you?" she asked.

"No thanks," I shook my head. "I can go get it myself. Anyway, I'll be checking out some more back there."

"Alright," she said.

I quickly went to the section where I knew Carole King's album would be in. Finally, I found the last copy they had. I took it with me as I browsed through the classic rock section again.

I got lost with what I was doing that I wasn't aware with the familiar person next to me.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Oh, hey!" I turned my head to my right and saw Finn standing next to me.

"It's you again..."

"What brings you here?" he asked me.

"This!" I excitedly showed him the album I was gonna get.

"Ah...Carole King," he smiled. "Jack actually bought that last month."

"Nice," I smiled, now going back to browsing the records.

"What else are you looking for?" he asked me as he began browsing too.

"Nothing, just checking out some more," I said.

"What about you?"

"Me?" he said, "I'm looking for some Mac DeMarco."
