Song Yuqi had always been a force to be reckoned with. At 18, she was the captain of the football team, top of her class, and known for her cold-hearted demeanor. Her icy exterior was a barrier she maintained meticulously, even after publicly announcing her relationship with Park Yn, the vibrant and ever-smiling captain of the basketball team and president of the student council. Their relationship was the talk of the school—a dynamic duo that seemed almost too good to be true.

Three months into their relationship, the school buzzed with anticipation for Yn's big basketball match. The gymnasium was packed, the air electric with excitement. Yn was on the court, warming up with her team, her eyes occasionally darting to the entrance, waiting for the one person who mattered most to arrive.

Yuqi walked in, her expression as composed and aloof as ever. Flanked by her close friends Miyeon, Soojin, Soyeon, and Shuhua, she made her way to the chairs designated for the fans. Yn's best friend and Yuqi's close friend, Chaeryeong, stood nearby, chatting with Yn.

"So, you nervous?" Chaeryeong asked, nudging Yn playfully.

"Not really," Yn replied with a grin. "Just waiting for my good luck charm."

As if on cue, Yuqi entered the gymnasium, her cold eyes scanning the crowd before landing on Yn. Chaeryeong smirked, noticing the shift in Yn's demeanor.

"There she is," Chaeryeong said. "Your ice queen."

Yn laughed. "More like my puppy, but don't let her hear that."

Yuqi approached the stands with her friends. Miyeon, ever the observant one, noticed the way Yuqi's gaze softened slightly when she saw Yn.

"You think Yuqi will ever crack a smile in public?" Miyeon whispered to Soojin.

Soojin chuckled. "Only for Yn. Watch."

As soon as Yn spotted Yuqi, her face lit up with a radiant smile. Without thinking, she called out, "Hey baby! Are you watching me play?"

Yuqi paused, her gaze locking onto Yn's. In her usual cold tone, she replied, "Of course, my girl. Did I ever miss?"

The crowd's murmurs quieted as they witnessed this rare interaction. Yn's best friend, Minnie, standing nearby, nudged Yn playfully.

"Go get 'em, tiger," Minnie whispered, grinning.

Yn's playful side emerged. With a teasing smile, she replied, "Well, make sure to keep your eyes on me, puppy."

In that instant, Yuqi's icy facade melted. Her lips curved into the widest, sweetest smile anyone had ever seen. She trotted over to the edge of the court, her voice dropping into a cute, affectionate tone. "Okay, baby. I love youuu," she said, her voice deep yet tender.

The entire court gasped in awe. The transformation was astounding—Yuqi, the unyielding captain, had turned into a lovestruck puppy in a matter of seconds. The crowd watched in amazement at how easily Yn could bring out this side of her.

Yn's smile widened even further as she replied, "Love you too, honey."

The game commenced with Yn's team playing fiercely. Yuqi's eyes never left Yn. She cheered louder than anyone, her cold exterior forgotten in the warmth of her love. As Yn played her heart out on the court, knowing that Yuqi was watching her with such adoration, she felt invincible.

During a timeout, Yn's teammate Lisa turned to her, eyes wide. "Did you see the way Yuqi looked at you? She's like a totally different person!"

Yn laughed. "That's the power of love, I guess."

Lisa shook her head in amazement. "I thought she was going to freeze me with that glare when I asked her for help with math last week."

Yn grinned. "Well, she has a soft spot for me."
