the buzz of the casino rang in [name]'s ears, her left hand's nails deftly digging into the palm on her luxuriously gloved palm as a loud ear-splitting sound rang through her ear piece. she winced slightly, her focus from the game in front of her wavering before she opened the channel with her left, the hand unclenching as waited for the voice on the other side to speak.

she could hear the slight crackle of static as a strained voice spoke up. the voice belonged to kwon taekjoo, [name]'s partner. panting out, he spoke. "aventurine, he's on the run. come to the deck."

"i'm coming, don't get too excited." she spoke languidly with her voice changer on, but her voice cracked with static on the other side. she stood up, the cushioned chair falling back onto the red carpet as she put on an apologetic smile for the other patrons. [name] reached for her hat, using her other hand to reach into her dark over-coat for her purple-tinted sunglasses.

"apologies, it seems i have to retire early." she excused herself to the middle-aged men at the casino, putting on her sunglasses as she rested her right hand on her hip. she let out a chuckle, her ever-perfect smile not faltering while her richly adorned arms shimmered against the lights of the cruise's chandeliers.

"aventurine! down here." taekjoo shouted, her real name was a well guarded secret, leaving with many people using [name]'s alias given by the ipc, looking back at her before, he then dived into the water, his impact on the water sending ripples through the ocean's surface.

[name] got up to the deck of the cruise, her hair softly dancing from the strong winds. she laughed again, her voice calm and steady when she noticed taekjoo jump off the deck, she smiled, her tone hinted with excitement. "right behind you, partner."

taekjoo looked up as he landed in the water, watching [name] land with a thud on the smaller ship's deck with only her legs. the fall not fazing her one bit. her purple and cyan ringed eyes shimmered in the night as she landed on a smaller boat driven by a junior that was assigned on the mission along them.

"a stunt? that is very unusual of you, taekjoo." she said, watching as the junior flail to catch taekjoo's watch. she stood in front of the boat's wheel, her right hand loosely clasping it when she used her other arm to bring the gear forward.

"chase after him." taekjoo urged her, completely ignoring her comment, before taking off his sea-water soaked jacket as he stood in his translucent white shirt. she nodded, her smile wideneding a bit when she heard the missiles. she let out a grunt of frustration plus amusement when their junior yelled for his dear life.

[name] crashed against the bigger boat with precise movements, sending the two people on the boat flying into the water. she leaned her head back, watching taekjoo over her shoulder as he fished the men out of the water.

taekjoo spoke in a continuous manner, leaving no room for his junior to protest. "report back to hq that we've secured lee cheoljin, his accomplice and the usb. i've already subdued the contact, kim yeonghee on the cruise. the guards have probably found her now. contact the guards and tell them to transfer her on to us."

the younger man wanted to protest, his voice panicked when he talked about the dent in the boat [name] made. "what? but, what about the hole in the boat, miss aventurine made?" he asked, his mind already scrambling like a cat for possible excuses he could make to his superior. the junior used [name]'s alias, aventurine, but a sense of anxiety washed over him when he felt a silk gloved hand on his shoulder.

[name] sensing that taekjoo was getting impatient, decided to step in. she held a false smile on her pristine face, the tinted glasses hiding the lifeless gleam in her dull eyes, as the serial number on her neck gleamed as it was brandished by the boat's red lights of alarm.
