the door of the warehouse creaked open and both taekjoo and zhenya walked out. [name] could hear some chatter coming from them, yet she was too entranced. staring at the setting sun, her eyes softened; the mask of hers slipping.

clutching the stone to her chest, she examined it carefully. aventurine of stratagems. [name] held it loosely, yet she knew that this gem was more precious than her life. her ears picked up the shuffling of clothes getting closer and due to this, she swiftly stored the stone back into her inventory.

zhenya was still untrustworthy and if he sees her cornerstone; it's be big trouble for her. he was a chip of unknown value for now. [name]'ll be patient. she'll take her time to learn his true potential before she acts.

[name] was aware of the next plan of action, however, knowing that the pair was now in earshot, she asked. "are we really going to ride that thing?" taekjoo seemed puzzled at how she knew. as if she could sense taekjoo's confusion, she added. "i could hear everything through your earpiece. you forgot to close your channel."

[name] smiled, yet it didn't reach her eyes. it never did. zhenya walked up behind her with his hands in his pockets. taekjoo huffed, of course he forgot to close the channel, but she didn't need to point it out and humiliate him.

"yes, yes we are." taekjoo responded, nodding. zhenya looked at [name], tracing the contours of her face. the angle of her jaw always looked poised and perfect, her irresistible lips curving into a smile. how her dull eyes glistened and the brand that corrupted the side of her neck.

in the middle of the night, [name] shifted; the sounds of high pitched moans reverberating in her ear. a deep frown was etched on her face. aeons above. can this woman be quiet? she knew it wasn't her business, but this was blatantly disrespectful. she grabbed a fistful of the pillow, bringing it over her head as she shuffled to face the wall.

almost tempted to bang her head against the wall, she climbed down the bunk. with her eyes narrowed at zhenya, who looked like he didn't have a care in the world. a sigh escaped her lips and she drew her gaze away. the last thing she wanted was for the image of zhenya having sex with a woman engraved in her mind.

a yawn escaped her lips and she wiped her eyes. climbing back onto the top bunk after grabbing what she needed, she decided just to respond to any matters that her team needed her to. a sigh escaped her lips, yet the smile on her face never faltered. corresponding with others, yet not of being help to them, [name] worked away.

"you guys look a little uncomfortable down there." [name] smiled, looking at them from the bunk above. zhenya and taekjoo sat facing each other. zhenya's left knee between taekjoo's thighs and taekjoo's left knee between zhenya's thighs. taekjoo grumbled something under his breath, his arms crossed.

her legs dangled beside taekjoo's face, her dress shoes almost hitting his face from time to time. taekjoo let out a huff, glaring at zhenya. "would you guys mind moving away?" he asked, with something akin to thinly veiled irritation.

"it's not my fault my legs are long." zhenya responded with a shrug. his head was tilted back a bit and he looked at taekjoo, almost challenging him in a way to do something about it.

"my kicks don't hurt unless i want for them to," [name] also responded with a smug smile and shrug. a yawn escaped taekjoo's lips and she grinned down at him, showcasing him her pearly white teeth. "so you won't get hurt unless you piss me off."

he let out a scoff, when zhenya commented on his yawn and how it was 'not cute'. [name] let out a hearty chuckle, peering down at him when taekjoo ignored his statement.
