BONDAGE

CHAPTER ONE

I woke up from the sound of my alarm. Wiping my eyes and stretched my arms. I made breakfast and went to my grandma's room.

"Grandma, wake up. Let's eat." I tap her shoulder.

One eyed open she said. "Later mom... I want to sleep more."

My grandma has Alzheimer's disease, sometime she thinks I am her mom, daughter or granddaughter.

So today, I am her mom.

I sit her up and shake her lightly. "I need to go to work, so you should eat first."

Both of us ate in the kitchen. I am washing the dishes when my friend Ina came.

"Oh... I made breakfast already." I told her.

"Are you sure I shouldn't come here when you are transferred for night shift?" She asked.

I hum. "I will be here in the morning anyway, you don't have to look after my grandma."

She took care of my grandma everytime I go to work and she's the only friend I have.

"But you'll lack of sleep, so I'll still come over."

She's a freelancer, just going around doing any work. I only give her foods, because she said that's enough and it's not that hard to take care of my grandma.

I took a bath and prepare to go to work.

"Bye! I'll go now, don't go outside and roam around grandma!" I shouted and went out of the house.

I arrive at the hospital and change. I am a nurse in a prestigious hospital. I don't earn much since I pay a lot bills plus the debt of parents from the loan sharks.

My grandma is the only family I have. My dad is a drug addict, he's inside the jail right now. My mom is a gambler who only comes to me when she's out of money. They both left me with my grandma since birth. Since I am just a fruit of their lustful night.

Grandma strive to help me study until she can. I was high school when she started having Alzheimer so I work part time 'till college and got some scholarships.

It all paid off, all the hardwork I did. I became a nurse like I dreamed of and manage to live in this fucked up life for 24 years.

After work, I went to the pharmacy since I bought some vitamins and medicines for my grandma.

I am walking in a dark alley, I don't usually walk here but since I went to the pharmacy, I need to take this direction to our house.

"Did you get home safe?"

"I am still walking...

I'm almost there." I giggled.

He sucks his teeth. "Okay, tell me
when you get home... sorry
I couldn't pick you up."

"It's okay... I know we

have our own work."

"Yeah, so how's your day?"

"Still the same... you?"

"I miss you."

I laughed. "Suddenly?"

"What do you mean suddenly?
We didn't see each other for
almost a week now."
